SWEET CORN, CHEESE CROQUETTES RECIPE


Two days back made these yummy corn, cheese croquettes and served as tea time snacks. They tastes so good. Crisper outside and creamy, cheesy inside. You just need few ingredients to make this recipe. If you have kids around then this is a must try recipe. They will definitely like them a lot.they tastes great with tomato ketchup.

Ingredients :

Sweet corn kernels : 1 cup
Grated cheese : 1/4 cup
Bread crumbs : 1 cup
Milk : 1 cup
Maida : 1/3 cup + 1/4 cup
Chopped green chilly : 1
Chopped coriander leaves : 1/4 cup
Salt : 1/4 tea spoon
pepper powder : 1/2 tea spoon
oil for deep frying
Butter : 2 tea spoons

Method :

First take 1/3 cup of Maida in bowl, add water and make thin batter and keep this a side

Now coarsely blend corn kernels.

Now take a pan add butter and 1/4 cup of Maida roast for 2 minutes then gradually add milk and mix without lumps.

Now add blended corn and pepper powder and cook till mixture gets dry.

Now remove this mixture from fire and let the mixture cools completely.

Now add grated cheese, chillies and coriander leaves, mix it well. Add little salt and mix it.

Now apply little oil to your hands and make balls, dip in prepared batter,roll it in bread crumbs well.

Now fry them in hot oil on both sides until it changes into golden color and serve.

Take corn kernels into a blender

Blend it coarsely

Take butter and flour in a pan


Roast it for few minutes

Gradually add milk
Cook without lumps

Add blended corn

Add pepper powder

Stir continuously until mixture gets dry

Take mixture into a bowl let the mixture cool completely


Take 1/3 cup of flour into a bowl add water and make thin batter

Add coriander leaves and chillies to cooled mixture

Add cheese

Mix it well

Apply oil to your hands and make balls

Dip them in thin batter

Coat well with bread crumbs

Drop them in hot oil

Fry on medium flame and serve


Yummy corn, cheese croquettes are ready to serve!!!
