kadhai paneer

Hi.....today's yummy dish is kadhai paneer,yummy Indian dish ,paneer cooked in tomato puree and capsicum.
                 
                        I first tasted this dish in restaurant, I became a big fan of kadhai paneer.i wanted to try this dish at home and watched so many videos and finally prepared this dish and the taste was same as restaurants which I tasted before!!!!

                    As we all know paneer is an Indian cottage cheese made with milk.I have a paneer recipe in my blog,please check the blog posts for paneer recipe.

 ingredients :

Paneer :500 Grams
Large capsicum : 1(cut into cubes)
large onion : 1(cut into cubes)
coriander seeds : 1 1/2 table spoons
cumin seeds/jeera : 1 t spoon
kasuri methi /dried fenugreek leaves : 1 table spoon
Kashmiri chilly powder : 1 tspoon
Fresh cream : 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves : 1/3 cup
dried red chillies : 2
Pepper corns : 1/2 tspoon
Salt to taste
tomato puree : 250 grams (I grinned 250 grams of tomatoes into paste)
garam masala : 1/2 tspoon
Oil : 2 table spoons
sugar :2 tspoons (optional)

Method :

1)first take a pan add coriander seeds,red chillies,pepper corns,cumin seeds and roast them for 2 to 3 minutes.

2)switchoff the flame and add kasuri methi and saute for a minute.let it cool completely.

3)we need 2 types of masala powders for this recipe,one is coarsely blended and another one is Finley blended.

4)first blend roasted spices coarsely and take 2 tea spoons of coarsely blended powder in a bowl and blend remaining coarsely blended powder into fine masala  powder.

5)now take a pan heat oil add finely blended powder to it.

6)add chilly powder and Garam masala. Saute for few seconds on low flame.

7)now add onions and capsicum saute for 1 minute on low flame.

8)now add tomato puree and salt, cook on high flame till tomato puree is well cooked.

8)now add sugar and paneer, stir gently.(sugar is optional)

9)now add coarsely blended masala powder and stir gently.

10)now add fresh cream and coriander leaves stir gently and cook on low flame for 3 to 5 minutes and switchoff the flame.

11)now enjoy the yummy tasty kadhai paneer at home.

12)serve with roti,naan,paratha or whatever you want.

 we need two types of powder,one is coarsely grinned and another one is fine powder,take out 2 tea spoons of coarsely grinned powder in a bowl and keep a side
 now grind remaining powder into fine powder
 now take a pan pour oil and add finely grinned powder
 add chilly powder
 Add garam masala and saute on low flame for few seconds
 now add capsicum and onions saute on low flame for 1 minute
 now add tomato puree
 Add salt
 Cook on high flame till tomato puree is nicely cooked
 now add sugar(I added sugar to cut the sourness of tomatoes)
 Now add paneer (I had slightly fried paneer in oil) stir gently
 now add coarsely grinned spice powder and stir gently
 now add fresh cream and coriander leaves

 Cook on low flame for 3 to 5 minutes by covering the lid and switchoff the flame......hmmmmm yummy kadhai paneer is ready to serve... Serve with roti/naan/rice.
