SCHEZWAN VEG FRIED RICE RECIPE


Yesterday I was craving for spicy food then I opened my fridge then saw some schezwan sauce sauce lying in my fridge then picked some veggies and prepared this yummy spicy schezwan veg fried rice and served with tasty chilly paneer!!!!! Mouthwatering right!!!!!

     I have already shared schezwan chicken recipe here. It was so yummy and tasty then here I'm with another spicy dish. It tastes absolutely delicious and exactly as restaurants. I used basmati rice to give it a restaurant touch. You can also use regular rice. If you have schezwan sauce (recipe here) and cooked rice in your hand then you can easily make this dish within minutes.

Ingredients :

Cooked basmati rice : 4 cups
Chopped large onions : 1
chopped French beans : 1 cup
Chopped large carrots : 1
Chopped Medium capsicum : 1
schezwan sauce : 2 table spoons (recipe here)
Salt to taste
tomato sauce : 2 table spoons(recipe here)
Oil : 2 table spoons

Method :

First heat oil in a wok add onions saute for a while then add chopped veggies saute for 2 to 3 minutes

Now add schezwan sauce and tomato sauce saute for few seconds then add cooked rice and salt saute for few minutes and remove from fire and serve hot.

You can also add some spring onions.

Add schezwan sauce as per your taste.You can also use store bought schezwan sauce in this recipe instead of homemade schezwan sauce.
Heat oil add onions saute for a while

Add your veggies

Saute for a while

Add schezwan sauce

Add tomato sauce

Saute it

Add cooked rice

Saute for few minutes

Remove from fire


Serve hot!!!!

PAN FRIED CHICKEN TIKKA RECIPE

 I'm posting this recipe specially for those people who don't have oven and charcoal grill. When I posted my dhaba style tandoori chicken and whole tandoori chicken in oven recipes so many viewers requested me to show those recipes without oven or charcoal grill. Then I decided to make this pan fried chicken tikka recipe. In this same way you can fry tandoori chicken in pan and then give it a charcoal smoke.

        As we all know chicken tikka is famous in all around the globe. So, I'm presenting this recipe in easy way. It just takes time to marinate and takes very less time to cook.result will be awesome!!!!! They just melt in mouth!!!!! Yummy!!!!!!!!

Ingredients :

Boneless chicken :  500 grams ( cut into oily cubes)
ginger garlic paste : 1 table spoon
Lemon juice : 1 table spoon
Chat masala : 1/2 tea spoon+ sprinkling on top
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Hung curd : 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Red food color : 1 pinch
Oil : 2 to 3 table spoons
garam masala : 1 tea spoon

Method :


First take chicken pieces add all ingredients except oil mix it well and marinate for 1 to 2 hours.

Now heat pan and add chicken pieces and fry on both sides till it gets dry.

Now if you want to smoky flavor, heat one charcoal put in a bowl and place this bowl on chicken pieces drizzle some oil on charcoal and cover the lid immediately leave it for 2 to 3 minutes and remove charcoal then sprinkle chat masala on top serve with onion rings and lemon wedges.


Take your chicken

Add all ingredients except oil

Marinate for 1 to 2 hours

Heat oil add marinated chicken pieces

Saute them


Fry until it gets dry

It's done now..... If you want you can give charcoal smoke for restaurant touch

Yummy chicken tikka is ready to serve!!!

100% WHEAT FLOUR PAN CAKES RECIPE


Hi...... Today I'm going to share another healthy and easy wheat flour pan cakes recipe. Making pan cakes at home is so simple and easy. I always make pan cakes with maida but as a mother I don't want to give my kids Maida always. So, today I prepared healthy wheat flour pan cakes and served as evening snacks. It tasted so lite and fluffy....yum!!!  If you want you can replace wheat flour with all purpose flour or Maida.

     You can add any toppings as per your wish like chocolate syrup, maple syrup, honey or jam. Then why are you waiting for, try this recipe and let me know how it turned out for you.


Ingredients :

Wheat flour : 2 cups
Milk : 2 cups or as required
eggs : 2
baking powder : 2 tea spoon
salt : 1/4 tea spoon
sugar : 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
melted butter/oil : 1/2 cup

Method :

First take all dry ingredients mix well

Now take eggs and sugar in a bowl whisk it well then pour milk whisk it well pour melted butter or oil mix it well

Now gradually add dry ingredients and mix without lumps

Now heat non stick pan on medium heat grease with butter and wipe with kitchen towel

Now pour Big laddle of batter and cook on medium flame till bubbles appears on top then flip it over and cook on other sides for few minutes then take into a plate drizzle toppings on top and serve.
Take flour add salt and baking powder

Whisk it well

Add sugar to eggs

Whisk it well

Pour milk and melted butter or oil

Whisk it well

Add vanilla essence

Gradually add flour

Whisk it well

Whisk without lumps

Batter is ready

Grease some butter

Wipe it with kitchen towel

Pour laddle of batter

Cook on medium flame until the bubbles appear on top
Flip it over

Take into a plate drizzle some honey or chocolate syrup


Serve!!!!


MUNAKKADA SAMBAR/DRUMSTICK SAMBAR RECIPE



Sambar is most popular dish in south India. Without sambar our south Indian meal is incomplete. This is the main dish served in Hindu weddings. It tastes so good with hot rice.

       As south Indian meal is incomplete without sambar my blog is also incomplete without this yummy sambar. I'm going to share more versions in sambar. But today I'm sharing simple and tasty sambar recipe.

Ingredients :

Toor dal/Kandi pappu/pigeon peas : 1/2 cup/100 grams
Drumsticks : 3
Large sliced tomatoes : 2
Large sliced onions : 1
Shallots : 10 to 15
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Tamarind : 25 grams (soak and take juice)
curry leaves : 2 strings
Coriander leaves : 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds/aavaalu : 1 tea spoon
Jeera/jeelakara/cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
Fenugreek seeds/mentulu : 1/2 tea spoon
Dried red chillies : 2
Sambar masala powder : 1 table spoon
Oil : 2 table spoons
Hing/inguva/ asafoetida : 1/4 tea spoon
Green chillies : 2
Salt to taste

Method :


First wash and cook dal until it gets soft then mash it with spatula

Now heat heavy bottom pan add oil then add mustard seeds let them splutter.

Now add dried chillies,Fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds 

Now add onions saute for 2 minutes then add curry leaves and shallots saute for a while

Now add tomatoes and cook until they gets soft

Now add drumstick pieces saute for 2 to 3 minutes

Now add coriander,chilly and turmeric powders and Hing saute for few seconds

Now pour 500 ml of water cook for 5 minutes by covering the lid

Now add cooked dal and tamarind juice and green chillies stir it well and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes (add more water if required)

Now add sambar powder and stir it without lumps and cook on low flame for 5 minutes

Finally add coriander leaves and serve.


Cook dal first

Heat oil add mustard seeds

Add cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds and dried chillies

Add onions

Curry leaves saute it

Add shallots saute for  while

Add tomatoes cook well

Add drumsticks saute for few minutes

Add coriander,chilly and turmeric powder

Add hing saute for a while

Pour water 

Cook it

Add cooked dal

Tamarind juice

Add green chillies

Cook on medium flame

Add sambar powder

Stir it and cook on low flame

Finally add coriander leaves

Remove from fire


Serve hot!!!!
