PAV BHAJI RECIPE



Yesterday posted soft and fluffy pav buns recipe,(recipe here) today I'm going to share yummy bhaji masala recipe. Boiled vegetables cooked in butter and masalas. Making this pav bhaji masala is so easy. You need some boiled veggies,butter and some masalas. Today I used only potatoes and carrots. But you can use fresh or frozen peas, cauliflower,capsicum. I always use green peas,capsicum, potatoes and carrots.it tastes absolutely delicious. But today I had only potatoes and carrots in my fridge. If you want to make pav bhaji please use above veggies for best results.

         I used store bought pav bhaji masala in this recipe which is easily available in supermarkets. But, I will sure post homemade pav bhaji masala in my future posts. Just make some pav bhaji add a blob of butter sprinkle some onions and lemon juice... Hmmmm heaven!!!!!!

Ingredients :

Boiled medium potatoes : 2
boiled Medium carrots : 1
boiled green peas : 1 cup
Boiled capsicum : 1 large
chopped onions : 1large + 1 large
Chopped tomatoes : 3 Medium
garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Pav bhaji masala : 2 table spoons
salt to taste
chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
chopped coriander leaves : 1/2 cup
Lemon : 1
Butter : 2 to 3 table spoons or as needed
Oil : 2 table spoons
coriander powder : 1 tea spoon

Method :

First take boiled vegetables mash them and keep it a side.

Now heat pan add oil add garlic paste saute for few seconds

Now add chilly powder, coriander powder and saute for few seconds

Now add chopped tomatoes cook till they turns into soft then add pav bhaji masala saute for few seconds.

Now add boiled and mashed vegetables saute for few seconds now pour enough water cook on medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes add 2 table spoons of butter sprinkle some coriander leaves and remove from fire.

Now cut pav buns into half heat tawa apply some butter and roast buns for few seconds and take into a plate.

Now take a plate put some pav bhaji sprinkle chopped onions add small piece of butter squeeze lemon and serve hot.
Take boiled vegetables


Mash them

Heat oil add chgarlic paste

Add onions saute for a while

Add dry masalas saute it for few seconds

Add tomatoes and cook well

Add Pav bhaji masala

Saute it

Add mashed vegetables and stir it

Pour water

Cook on medium flame by stirring in between

Finally add coriander leaves and butter remove from fire

Now heat tawa add butter cut pav into half


Roast on both sides for few seconds

Assemble every thing

Serve!!!
