Alhumdulillah it's already 2nd roza today. So,sharing 2nd ramzan recipe with you all, I'm going to share a very healthy and tasty badam(almond)milk recipe. It is a great drink to have in iftar.this almond milk is filled with lots of proteins and vitamins. Also very easy to just need handful of ingredients to prepare this recipe. You can serve as hot or chilled.but I love to have chilled.

Servings : 4 to 5

Ingredients :

Milk : 1 liter
Badam/Almonds : 1/2 cup (around 50 to 60)
Cardamom/elachi powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Sugar : 1/2 cup or as per your taste

Method :

First soak almonds in water for 4 hours and peel the skin. Then slice 10 to 15 almonds and keep a side.

Now blend remaining almonds into fine paste by adding some milk or water.

Now boil milk in a pan,stir constantly for 5 to 10 minutes.

Now add almond paste by stirring continuously.

Stir it for another 10 minutes,then add sugar and cardamom powder,stir it for 5 minutes and remove from fire.

Serve hot or cold.

Take almonds in a bowl

Soak them for 4 hours

Peel the skin

Slice 10 to 15 almonds and keep a side

Now take remaining almonds in a blender and add some milk and blend into a fine paste

Meanwhile boil milk and stir constantly for 10 minutes

Now add almond paste

Stir it for another 10 minutes

Now add sliced almonds

It's thickening now

Add sugar

Add cardamom powder

Stir for another 5 to 10 minutes

Remove from fire
