RAGI SANGATI/RAGI SANKATI MUDDA RECIPE


ragi sangati (finger millets dumplings)is a traditional meal in Karnataka and rayalaseema region in Andhra. It can be served with any curry, even with butter milk and onions. But tastes really yummy with chepala pulusuchicken curry or naatu kodi pulusu.this is very healthy dish for everyone.Mostly for diabetic patients.

         This ragi sangati is my husband's favorite dish. But I ever made this at home. He use to eat it in restaurants. But Recently one fine day  my mom thought me this recipe and it was a huge hit. It turned out perfect.  Everyone in my family praised me a lot.I was flying in the air with joy!!!!! A big thanks to my mom.

         

 servings : 4 to 6

Ingredients : 

Regular rice : 1 cup (200 grams)
Finger millet flour/ragi pindi : 1 1/2 cup (300 grams)
Salt : 1 tea spoon

Method :

First wash and soak rice in water for 1 hour.

Now take soaked rice in Big vessel add 8 to 10 cups of water and cook rice until it's 90 percent done.

Now add ragi flour and cover the lid.

Now cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes. (don't stir while cooking) pour boiling water around the pan if needed.

Now stir and mix gently without lumps. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes and remove from fire. 

Now wet your hands take a big batch of sangati roll it into a ball and serve.

Note :

Add more boiling water if required while cooking.


Wash and Soak rice for 1 hour

Take water, rice and salt in a vessel


Cook until 90% done

Add ragi flour and cover with lid

Cook on low flame by covering the lid

Now it is well cooked

Give it a nice stir without lumps

Cook on low flame for few minutes by covering the lid

Now it's done

Wet your hands and Take some portion of sangati and roll into a ball

Yummy ragi sangati is ready!!!!!

CAKE POPS RECIPE



I was really busy these days, so didn't  posted many  recipes these days. But from today onwards will try to post recipes daily. Also this is my last Christmas recipe for this year. Yesterday was my younger daughter jasra's birthday. So, prepared these yummy cake pops and a beautiful birthday cake for her. She loved them a lot.

         Making cake pops are really fun and  pretty easy to make. If you have any flavored left over cake or cake crumbs then you can make them with in minutes. You can also use storebought cake and butter cream. I made them with some left over vanilla muffins and chocolate cake crumbs.



Ingredients :

Any flavored cake : 300 grams
butter cream : 100 grams or as needed
Melted Dark chocolate or white chocolate : 200 grams or as needed
Sugar sprinkles for decoration

Method :

First take cake in a bowl and break them into pieces and make it crumbly with hands

Now add butter cream and and mix with your hands.

Now take a small portion and roll into a smooth ball and freeze them for 1 hour.

Now melt chocolate in double boiler 

Now take skewers or pop sticks lightly dip them in melted chocolate and insert in chilled cake balls then immediately dip them in melted chocolate 

Now sprinkle some sugar balls and insert in thermacoal sheets or upside down colander, refrigerate for 10 minutes and serve.

Butter cream recipe :

Take 25 grams of soft butter in a bowl beat it for a while and add 100 grams of icing sugar gradually and beat it add 1 to 2 tea spoons of milk in between and beat until light and fluffy.
Take any cake


Crumble it with your hands


Take your butter cream frosting

Add to crumbled cake

Mix it well with your hands,so that you can feel the right consistency


Now roll them into smooth balls

Freeze for 1 hour

Melt chocolate in a double boiler on low flame

Take skewer

Dip in melted chocolate

Insert skewer in chilled cake balls

Dip them in melted chocolate


Insert them in thermacoal sheets, I dipped some cake pops in melted white chocolate

Sprinkle sugar balls and refrigerate for a while and serve

EGGLESS WHEAT BANANA MUFFINS RECIPE


Hi...... Today I'm going to share a healthy and tasty muffin recipe. That is eggless wheat flour banana muffin recipe. These muffins are filled with lots of healthy ingredients. Tastes absolutely delicious. Ingredients : makes 12 muffins

Ripe bananas : 3 large/ 350 grams
Whole wheat flour : 180 grams/1 1/2 cups
oil : 1/2 cup/100ml
baking powder : 1 tea spoon heapful
baking soda : 1/2 tea spoon
vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
sugar : 100 grams/1/2 cup
Milk : 1/2 cup/100ml
Tutti frutti : 1/2 cup (optional)

Method :

First take sugar and bananas in a blender and blend into a fine paste

Take this mixture in a bowl add oil and vanilla essence mix it well

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda together and add to banana mixture and mix without lumps

Now add milk and mix well.

Now toss tutti frutti in tea spoon of flour and add it to batter and mix it. (you can also use raisins or nuts)

Line muffin mold with paper cups and spoon the batter into muffin liners till 3/4.

Preheat oven in 180 degrees and bake for 30 to 35 minutes in same temperature.

Let them cool completely ans serve.




Take bananas and sugar into a blender

Blend into a fine paste

Take this into a blender

Add oil

Add vanilla

Mix it well

Now it's well combined

Sift baking powder, baking soda and flour together

Add  it to banana mixture

Mix well

Add milk and mix it

Add tutti frutti

Mix it well

Line muffin mold with paper cups

Take batter in a scoop

Fill molds till 3/4

Bake it

Now they are ready



Healthy tasty banana muffins are ready to serve!!!!
