stuffed masala buns



I always bake buns and breads at home because I love that aroma and taste of freshly baked buns.this time I tried my buns in different way. I stuffed some masala and made them more tasty!!!!!  Yes,i prepared a yummy veg filling to stuff in these buns and I just baked them, the result was really amazing.they tastes wow!!!!!!


           I made simple and tasty potato and carrot stuffing.you can also add some boiled peas init or can make some chicken masala for stuffing.

Makes 7 to 8 buns

Ingredients :

buns dough

Filling :

Large potatoes : 2 (boiled,peeled and mashed)
Large carrot : 1 (chopped and boiled)
Chopped Green chillies : 2
Chopped onions : 1 (large)
Coriander leaves : 2 table spoons
Cumin seeds/jeera : 1 tea spoon
Ginger garlic paste : 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil : 2 table spoons

Buttrt

Method :

First make dough here and let the dough rise into double in size.

Now heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds then add onions saute for 2 minutes

Now add ginger garlic paste saute till raw flavours disappears

Now add all spice powders and saute for few seconds

Now add potatoes and carrots saute for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame then add coriander leaves and saute for few seconds and switch off the flame

Now let the mixture cools completely

Take your raised dough punch down the air knead dough for 2 minutes

Make equal portions of dough ,apply some oil to your hands and make round shape with your hands and slightly press it and put some potato mixture and cover it with dough and make a smooth ball and arrange in lined baking tray.

Now put these buns in warm place and again let it sit for 1 hour or raise into double in size.Apply some milk on top gently.

Preheat the oven in 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 20 to 30 minutes in 200 degrees Celsius.

After baking apply some butter on top and serve warm.

Punch down the air from raised dough and knead for few minutes

Put some mixture init

Make it into a smooth ball

Place it in baking tray and let it test for 1 hour or till they increase into double

Apply some milk gently on buns

Bake it

Apply some butter on top

Yummy buns are ready

Serve warm.

CHICKEN SAMOSA RECIPE



Samosa is an famous tea time snack in india.we Indians love to eat  samosa at any time. As an Indian I too love samosa. There so many varieties of samosas are there, like Punjabi aloo samosa, veg samosa, paneer samosa etc., we can stuff any mixture of our choice. Which I'm going to share here in my blog.

             Today I'm going to show you chicken samosa. yesterday I prepared these chicken samosa for iftar. I used shredded chicken and store bought samosa patty in this recipe.you can also use chicken kheema. If you are using chicken kheema cook till chicken is done a till water dries.

         trust me and try this recipe these are really really yummy in taste.

Ingredients for filling :

Shredded chicken : 1 cup
Chopped onions : 4 (medium)
Chopped Green chillies : 2
Red chilli powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 table spoon
turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala : 1/2 tea spoon
Pepper powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Oil : 2 table spoons
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves : 2 table spoons

Oil for deep frying

Method :

Take a pan add 2 table spoons of oil then add onions and green chillies saute for 2 minutes

Now add ginger garlic paste saute till raw flavours disappear

Now add all spice powder saute for few seconds and then add shredded chicken saute for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame then add coriander leaves and cook on low flame for 2 minutes and switchoff the flame

Let the mixture cool completely

Now take 1 tea spoon Maida add little water and make a smooth paste and keep it a side

Now take your samosa patty fold it like a cone and fill some mixture init then fold like samosa as shown in pictures and seal with Maida paste

Now heat oil and fry these samosas in oil till they changes into golden color

Serve hot!!!!

Fry onions and green chillies

Add ginger garlic paste saute it

Add all spice powders saute them

Add chicken saute it

Add coriander leaves

Saute for few seconds

Cook on low flame for couple of minutes then switch off the flame


Make a smooth paste of Maida

Now all set to make samosa

Apply some maida paste on edges and seal it

It's ready to fry


Heat oil and drop samosa init

Fry till golden color

Yummy chicken samosa is ready!!!!!!

mango falooda recipe

 hi........I'm very excited to post this awesome recipe mango falooda. I have already posted falooda recipe here ,this time I prepared mango falooda for iftar.this is so good in taste. One should definitely try this recipe.

     I always use my homemade falooda noodles to make perfect falooda.check here for recipe.

            This falooda is made with fresh mango pulp and topped with yummy mango ice cream , dry fruits and chilled milk.it's really fun to make layers in glass and love those layers.

  Ingredients :

Mango pulp : 1 cup (ripe)
Chopped ripe mangoes : 1/2 cup
falooda noodles : 1/2 cup
Chilled milk : 1 cup
Dry fruits :as per your taste
Sabza seeds : 1table spoon
Mango ice cream

Method :

Start making noodles recipe here Or you can use store bought falooda sev

Soak sabza seeds for 30 minutes in water

Make mango pulp

Now take a glass put 1 table spoon of sabza seeds then add some chopped mango then falooda sev then add some mango pulp then pour some milk then add scoop of ice cream and top with dry fruits and chopped mango

That's it yummy tasty mango falooda is ready to serve!!!!!!!

Tips : make sure every thing should be chilled.

You can add every ingredients as per your taste.

Make mango pulp

Soak sabza seeds

Take a glass add sabza seeds

Add chopped mango and falooda sev

Put some mango pulp

Pour milk

Add ice cream


Top with dry fruits and chopped mango


Yummy falooda is ready to serve!!!!!

minapa vada recipe/urad dal vada recipe


This is most popular dish in south india .in some places they call vada and in Andhra they call garelu and vada.there are many types of vadas are there which I'm going to share in my blog.

I know everyone know this recipe,but as I always said there are so many beginners in cooking .so,I'm posting this recipe specially for them. I often prepare these vada and serve with idly and Sambhar for breakfast and some times with chicken curry at the evenings. Eating vada with chicken curry is really tasty. You should definitely taste once in your life time.But in ramzan I frequently make vada for iftar along with so many dishes.

        Making vada at home is not a big deal. It is so simple and easy.you just follow my step by step pictures and try at your home. I'm going share lots of iftar recipes in my blog so, stay connected.

  ingredients :

Minapappu/urad dal/white lentils : 250 grams
Finely chopped onion : 1 (medium)
chopped green chillies : 2
Chopped Curry leaves : 2 strings
Salt to taste
soda bicarbonate : 1/4 tea spoon
Jeera/cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil for deep frying

Method :

Soak  urad dal for 1 to 2 hours and wash it 2 to 3 Times

Now take soaked dal into blender add salt and soda bicarbonate and blend it coarsely (don't add water)

Now take coarsely blended batter into a bowl add all remaining ingredients and mix it well,if batter is too hard add 2 to 3 table spoons of water.

Now take any plastic cover and apply some water and wet your hands then put some portion of vada mix and make like vada shape as shown in pics

Now heat oil and deep fry vada on both sides till they changes into golden color.

Serve hot!!!!!




Soak dal

Add salt and soda to dal

Blend it coarsely

Add chopped onions

Add green chilli and curry leaves


Add jeera

Mix it well

Wet your hands

Take some portion make a round shape

Put small hole init

Drop them into hot oil

Fry on both sides

Fry till golden color

Take them into a plate

Serve hot!!!!

Fig milkshake recipe



Today started posting Ramadan iftar recipes in my blog.so thought to share some easy,tasty and healthy recipe.immediately this recipe came to my mind and started making this yummy fig milkshake.

             figs(anjeer) are very healthy for us and also reduces heat from our body.perfect for iftar. My kids loved this drink a lot.

   I hope you like it and give it a try.


To make 2 glasses of milkshake

Ingredients :
Fresh figs (anjeer) : 6
Milk : 300 ml (boiled and chilled)
Sugar : as per your taste
Ice cubes : 6
Vanilla ice cream : 1 scoop (optional)

Method :

Take out the stems of figs slightly peel the skin chop them and add to blender and make a paste

Now add all remaining ingredients and blend for few seconds and serve.
