carrot cake. recipe without oven



Here is an another cake recipe without oven,that is carrot cake!!!!!
As we all know carrot is how healthy for our body specially for kids.I added lots of grated carrots in this cake.we can make this cake  with very simple ingredients which are easily available in kitchen.it is  not healthy it is very tasty too.

          You can also add some dry fruits and nuts to make more tastier . speciality of this cake is I baked this cake without oven and without pressure cooker. Anyone can make this cake easily.I had already shared my rich chocolate cake without oven.

Ingredients :

All purpose flour/maida : 1 1/2 cup
Grated carrots : 1 cup
Powdered sugar : 1 cup
Eggs : 3
Oil : 1/2 cup
Cinnamon powder : 1 tea spoon
Baking powder : 1 tea spoon
Milk : 2 to 3 table spoons

Method :


First break eggs in to a mixing bowl whisk it for few seconds then add powdered sugar and whisk for 3 to 4 minutes.

Now take a sieve add cinnamon powder,baking powder and maida then sift it well and add to egg mixture and mix well

Now add grated carrots and oil and mix well

Now pour 2 to 3 table spoons of milk and my gently

Now take cake tin and grease some oil to it and dust some flour and pour the cake mixture to cake tin

Now take a heavy bottom vessel place a steel stand init and cover the lid.heat this vessel on low flame for 10 minutes

Now put this cake mould in vessel carefully and cover with lid and bake on low flame for 30 minutes or till if you insert a toothpick or knife it should comes out clean.

If your knife comes out clean your cake is done.

Let the cake cools completely and demold. And enjoy!!!!

If you want to bake this in oven preheat oven for 10 minutes in 180 degrees and bake for 25 to 30 minutes in 180 degrees.





Whisk eggs till foamy

Add powdered sugar

Whisk it well

Sift remaining dry ingredients together and add to eggs


Mix well

Pour oil

Add grated carrots

Mix it well

Pour milk

Mix gently

Grease and dust some flour to cake tin

Pour cake batter to cake tin

Place a stand in vessel

Cover the lid and heat it

Place cake tin carefully and cover with lid then bake it

It's done now

Let it cool down and demould it

Enjoy!!!!

CHICKEN BIRYANI RECIPE




Here is an another yummy biryani......that is chicken biryani.....!!!!!

This is the recipe I wanted to share from a long time,I know so many of you think....what is the big deal, it's just a biryani....but I'm posting this recipe specially for beginners and for newly married.

         I want to share every recipe in my blog....ok,coming to this biryani....this is my version which I usually prepare at home.....believe me and try this recipe you will definitely like this chicken biryani.

      I have already shared some of my biryani recipes like egg biryani,veg dum biriyani, so many varieties of biryani is yet to come in this blog,so,stay tuned.....one more thing, best combination for biryani is onion raita. It tastes really good.

Ingredients :

Chicken : 1 kg
Basmati rice : 1 kg
Sliced medium size onions : 6
Sliced medium tomatoes : 5
Green chilles : 6
Ginger garlic paste : 5 table  spoons
Curd : 300 ml
Coriander powder : 1 table spoon
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Oil : 200 ml
Ghee : 1 table spoon
Lemon juice : 2 table spoons
Coriander leaves : 1/2 cup
Mint leaves : 1/2 cup
Garam masala powder : 1/2 tea spoon

Whole Garam masala

Cinnamon sticks : 2
cinnamon : 4
cloves : 6
bay leaf : 1

NOTE : TAKE BIG PIECES OF CHICKEN

Method :

Soak rice for 30 to 60 minutes

First heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel then add whole Garam masala then add onions and green chillies saute till they changes into light golden color

Now add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 to 2 minutes then add tomatoes and saute till tomatoes are well cooked

Now add chicken pieces and saute for 5 minutes then add all spice powders and saute for few minutes then add curd and salt then saute for few minutes then add coriander and mint leaves

Now pour sufficient water to cook chicken and cook till chicken is tender

Now add lemon juice

While doing this process boil water in a vessel by adding salt then add soaked rice and cook till it is 80 percent done then drain the water and put this cooked rice chicken gravy and mix well

Now pour ghee on top of the rice

Now cook on low flame for 10 minutes and switchoff the flame

Now serve yummy chicken biryani!!!!!

Heat oil add whole Garam masala

now add onions and green chillies

Fry till golden color

Now add ginger garlic paste

Add tomatoes

Cook till tomatoes are soft

Add chicken pieces

Saute for few minutes

Add spice powders

Add curd

Saute for few minutes

Add salt

Add coriander and mint leaves

Pour water

Cook till chicken is tender

Add lemon juice and mix well
Now boil water in a vessel then add soaked rice

Cook and drain the water

Throw this rice on chicken gravy

Mix gently

Pour ghee evenly

Cook on low flame and switchoff of the flame

Serve!!!

whole wheat bread/Brown bread recipe




Hi,hope you all doing well,yesterday baked this super soft healthy bread.I'm saying healthy because this bread is made of whole wheat flour.i didn't add even 1/2 cup of Maida in it.so it very healthy for kids.

             I had already shared my white bread. recipe. Here in my blog,so I wanted to share a healthy version of bread.

            As I always said I'm very fond of baking, whenever I feel stressed or bored I enter my kitchen and I just bake any bread or cake,after baking I feel stress free.

           
               Ignore the color on top of my bread because I was little lazy to cover foil on bread while baking bread.color doesn't matter for me.

              If you want nice golden color as my white bread just cover aluminum foil on top after 20 minutes of baking and again bake it.

My one cup measures 200 ml

Ingredients :

Whole wheat flour : 4 cups
Water : 200 ml or as needed
Yeast : 2 tea spoon
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Sugar : 1/4 cup
Milk powder : 2 table spoons
butter : 50 grams


Bread tin size : 9 by 5

Method :

First take 200 ml of Luke warm water in a bowl add 1 table spoon of sugar and yeast mix well till yeast and sugar dissolves.now keep this mixture a side for 10 to 15 minutes till bubbles appear on top.

Now take flour into mixing bowl add all remaining dry ingredients mix well

Now add yeast mixture and butter (room temperature) mix it well

Now knead this into soft dough (pour more water if required,dough should be little sticky)

Knead dough for 15 to 20 minutes

If you are using electric mixer 5 to 10 minutes is enough


Now apply oil to a bowl and put this dough init and pour 1 tea spoon of oil on dough and cover with cling wrap or lid and keep it a side for 45 to 60 minutes or till it gets double in size.

After dough has raised punch down the air and pour some oil on clean surface and knead the dough for 2 to 3 minutes

Now make a log of dough and put this log in greased bread tin and cover with cloth and put this in warm place for 45 to 60 minutes  or  till it raises into double in size

Now preheat the oven in 200 degrees Celsius and bake bread for 10 minutes in 200 degrees then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for 30 minutes

Now let it cool for 45 minutes and demold the bread and cool on wire rack and serve.


Add yeast to warm water

Add sugar

Mix well

Let it bloom

Add salt to flour

Add milk powder

Add sugar

Mix well

Add yeast mixture

Mix well

Add butter

Mix well

Knead into a smooth dough

Place dough In a bowl and cover with cling wrap

Dough has raised now

Knead this dough for 2 to 3 minutes


Slightly flat the dough

Roll it like this

Make a log shape

Grease bread tin with oil

Place dough log in bread tin

Let it raise into double

Bake it

Cool on wire rack

Serve!!!
