MASALA DOSA RECIPE



Hi guys...... I'm back with another yummy popular south Indian  breakfast masala dosa recipe. I made this masala dosa quite often. Recently I made this masala on this Sunday and also made yummy mysore masala dosa. Which I'm going to share in few hours. You just need few ingredients to make potato masala and my fool proof dosa batter. That's it you can enjoy hotel taste at home.

Ingredients :

Boiled potatoes : 300 grams
Oil : 1 table spoon
mustard seeds : 1 tea spoon
Chopped large onions : 1
curry leaves : 2 strings
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves : 2 table spoons
Green chillies : 1
urad dal/white lentils : 1 tea spoon
oil : 1 to 2 spoons for dosa

Method :


First prepare dosa batter recipe here.

Now to make masala, heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,let them splutter. Then add urad dal.

Now add onions, curry leaves and chillies, saute for couple of minutes.

Now add turmeric powder and salt, stir it.

Now add mashed potatoes and 1/2 cup of water, stir it from 1 to 2 minutes.

Finally sprinkle some coriander leaves and remove from fire.

Now heat tawa and make dosa, drizzle some oil and spread some potato masala, cook for some time and fold it gently and remove from fire and serve hot.

Boil and peel potatoes

Mash them and keep a side

Now heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds

Add white lentils

Add onions and chillies

Add curry leaves saute for couple of minutes

Add turmeric powder, stir it

Add mashed potatoes

Add 1/2 cup of water

Stir it well

Finally add coriander leaves and remove from fire

Now potato masala is ready

Heat tawa and make dosa

Drizzle some oil

Spread some potato mixture

Let it cook for some time until you notice Brown spots

Fold it and remove from fire

Serve hot
