Egg bajji/egg fritters are a very easy and quick snack recipe. Egg bajji is very famous street food in Tamil nadu. Hubby used to bring these egg bajji at evening Times everyday when we were In Coimbatore. They tastes so good and yum. I tried this recipe at home and turned out so good. I can say kids wi'll definitely love them.

Ingredients :

Besan/gram flour/chanaga pindi : 150 grams/1 1/2 cups
Hard boiled eggs : 4
Salt to taste
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Hing : 1 pinch
Cooking soda/sodabicorb : 1/4 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tea spoon
Oil for deep frying

Method :

Take hard boiled eggs, remove the shell and cut them into halves.

Now take flour add salt,asitofida,sodabicorb,turmeric powder and chilly powder.

Mix it well and add water little by little and make a smooth batter. (batter should not be thick nor thin.

Now dip boiled egg in batter and drop them in hot oil.

Fry on both sides until they changes into golden color and serve hot.

Note :

If you want crispy bajjis prepare little runny batter. If you want soft bajjis batter should be thick.

Take hard boiled eggs and remove the shells

Cut them into halves

Sift flour into a bowl

Add Chilly powder and hing

Add soda,salt and turmeric powder and mix it well

Add water 

Make smooth batter without lumps

Drop an egg

Coat it well with batter

Drop in hot oil

Fry on both sides and take into a plate
