PANEER PULAO RECIPE/PANEER AND CASHEWNUT PULAO RECIPE



 I love to try different recipes with paneer. So far I have shared paneer tikka,paneer tikka masala,paneer pasanda, butter paneer masala, kadhai paneer, paneer do pyaza etc.,. Today I'm going to share authentic way of paneer pulao.paneer pulao is an easy recipe with very simple ingredients. Tastes just as restaurant ones. Mostly I love the flavours in this pulao. It can be served with any veg or non veg gravies. So give it a try and let me know how it turned out for you.



Servings : 2 

Ingredients :


Paneer : 200 grams
Basmati rice : 1 1/2 cups
Water : 3 cups
Medium chopped onion : 1
Butter : 1/4 cup
Cinnamon stick : 1
Bay leaf : 1
Shajeera/black cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
Cardamoms : 2
Salt to taste
Cashewnuts : 15 to 20
Green chillies : 2 (slitted)

Method :

First wash and soak basmati rice for 30 to 60 minutes.

Heat butter in a pressure cooker, add paneer and saute for few seconds and take them into a plate.

Now add cardamom,cinnamon,shajeera,bay leaf,saute for few seconds.

Now add onions, green chillies and cashewnuts, saute until onions turns into light golden color.

Now add rice and saute for few seconds,then add water and salt. Mix it well and close the pressure cooker lid and cook  for 2 to 3 whistles and remove from fire.

Now let the all pressure goes out remove the lid carefully, add paneer pieces, mix it gently and serve.

Now heat butter in a pressure cooker

Add paneer 

Saute for few seconds and take them into a plate

Now add whole garam masala

Add onions and chillies,saute for few seconds

Add cashew nuts

Saute until onions changes into light golden color

Now add soaked rice

Saute for few seconds

Add water and salt, mix it well,close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 whistles


Now let the all pressure goes out, gently remove the lid

Add paneer and mix gently

Serve hot!!!!!
