EGG DROP CURRY RECIPE/KODI GUDDU KOORA RECIPE



Hi Friends, I'm back with 'cooking for beginners' series. Today I'm going to share tasty egg drop curry recipe. It is so easy to make and very yummy in taste. It well goes with any rice or paratha.also you can easily prepare this dish in minutes. I hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turned out for you.


Servings : 3


Ingredients :


Eggs : 4
Large onions : 2
Medium tomato : 1
Slitted green chillies : 2
Small cinnamon piece : 1
Cloves : 2
Ginger garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves : 2 table spoons
Oil : 2 table spoons

Method :


First heat oil in a pan add cinnamon and cloves, then add onions and green chillies and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw flavors disappears.

Now add tomatoes and cook them well. Now add Salt,chilly powder,turmeric powder and coriander powder. Saute for few seconds.

Now add 250 to 300 ml of water and bring it to a boil.

Now break eggs and drop them into curry.

Cover the lid and cook on medium to High flame until water dries then add coriender leaves and serve.

Saute well

Add water

Mix it well

Bring it to a boil

Break and drop eggs

Cover and cook on medium to High flame

Cook until water dries

Now it's done,finally sprinkle some coriander leaves

Serve.

CHETTINNAD CHICKEN CURRY RECIPE/CHICKEN CHETTINAD RECIPE


Chettinad chicken  curry is a very famous dish in tamil nadu. It tastes so yummy and also spicy too. It not as regular chicken curry recipe. This dish is filled with freshly grounded spices and lots of beautiful aroma. There are so many varieties in chettinad chicken, like chettinad pepper fry, chettinad chicken fry etc., which I'm going to share in this blog in my future posts. You can serve this with any roti or rice. But, tastes absolutely divine.

Ingredients :

Chicken : 500 grams
Chopped medium tomatoes : 3
chopped medium onions : 2
ginger garlic paste : 2 table spoons
Curry leaves : 2 strings
chopped coriander leaves : 1/4 cup
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
oil : 3 table spoons
Half lemon

For chettinad masala :

Dried red chillies : 2 to 3
pepper corns : 1 tea spoon
Fennel seeds/sounf : 1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds/jeera : 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander seeds : 2 table spoons
Dried or fresh coconut : 1/4 cup
Star anise : 1
Poppy seeds : 2 tea spoons
Cinnamon sticks : 2 (inch size)
cloves : 2
cardamom : 2

Method :

First take all chettinad masala ingredients, dry roast them for 2 to 3 minutes and remove from fire.

Now let it cool completely and blend into a fine powder. Then add some water and blend into a fine paste.

Now heat oil in a pan add chopped onions and saute until they changes into light golden color.

Now add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw flavors disappear.

Now add curry leaves and saute for few seconds, then add grounded masala and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt saute for few seconds and add tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes turns soft.

Now add chicken and saute for 5 minutes on high flame.

Now add 2 to 3 cups of water and cook until chicken gets tender by covering the lid.stir in between.(add some water and cook if needed)

Now, when gravy becomes thick, squeeze lemon and sprinkle coriander leaves and cook on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes and remove from fire.

Now serve hot with roti or rice.


Take your chettinad masala ingredients


Dry roast for few minutes

Let it cool completely and take into a blender

Blend into a fine powder

Add some water

Blend into a fine paste

Now heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute well

Add ginger garlic paste

Saute until raw flavors disappear

Add curry leaves and saute well

Now add grounded masala 

Saute for couple of minutes

Add remaining spice powders and salt, saute well

Now add tomatoes

Cook until tomatoes turns soft

Add chicken pieces

Saute for 5 minutes

Now add water as required

Cover and cook until chicken gets tender

Stir in between

Finally squeeze some lemon juice

Sprinkle some coriander leaves and cook on low flame for few minutes and remove from fire

Now it's done

Serve hot!!!!

RESTAURANT STYLE KADAI CHICKEN RECIPE/CHICKEN KARAHI RECIPE


Hi guys...... Hope you all are enjoying your weekend.... I m enjoying in my kitchen, today I made custard jelly pudding and waiting for my kids. They just love jelly dishes so much, I will share that recipe with you all soon.

       Okay, coming to today's recipe, today I'm going to share yummy restaurant style kadai chicken recipe.this recipe is also requested by some of my blog readers. Why I'm saying restaurant style means it just smells and tastes as restaurants. My younger daughter jasra was really impressed and said "mamma it tastes same as restaurant kadai chicken which we had in coimbatore." happy me!!!!! It tastes and smells really great with freshly grounded kadai masala.

Ingredients :

Chicken : 1 kg
Medium tomatoes : 3 (blend into puree)
large chopped onion : 1
oil : 1/4 cup
Red chilly : 1
cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
Coriander seeds : 2 tea spoons
Ginger garlic paste : 2 table spoons
Kashmiri chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoons
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
curd/yogurt : 1/2 cup
Garam masala powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Large onion : 1 (cut into cubes)
large capsicum : 1 (cut into cubes)
Chopped coriander leaves : 1/2 cup

For kadai masala :

Coriander seeds : 2 table spoons
Dried red chillies : 2
pepper corns : 1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds/jeera : 1 tea spoon
fennel seeds/saunf : 1 tea spoon

Method :


First start making kadai masala. Take all kadai masala ingredients in a pan dry roast them for 2 to 3 minutes and let it cool completely. Now blend it into a powder and keep a side.

Now heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds,dried Red chilly and coriander seeds.

Now add chopped onions and saute for couple of minutes.then add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw flavors disappear.

Now add chicken pieces and saute for 5 minutes. Then add half of the kadai masala powder.

Now add Kashmiri chilly powder,Turmeric powder and coriander powder, saute for 3 to 4 minutes.

Now add tomato puree ,Garam masala powder and cook for 3 to 5 minutes by stirring in between.

Now add beaten curd and stir it well, cook on low flame for 5 minutes by stirring in between.

Now add remaining kadai masala. Diced onion and capsicum, stir it well.Cook on low flame for 5 minutes by covering the lid. Check ,chicken is cooked or not. If chicken is not cooked add some water and cook it. Otherwise no need to add water.

Finally sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve hot.

Take all kadai masala ingredients in a pan

Dry roast for couple of minutes 

Let it cool completely and blend it into a powder, your kadai masala is ready

Now heat oil in a pan , add dried red chilly, cumin and coriander seeds

Add onions and saute it

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a while

Add chicken pieces

Cook for few minutes

Add half of the kadai masala powder

Add other spice powders

Saute well

Add tomato puree

Cook for few minutes

Add garam masala powder

Add beaten curd

Cook it well

Add remaining kadai masala

Add diced onions

Add diced capsicum and  cook. On low flame

Finally add coriander leaves

It's done now

Yummy kadai chicken is ready to serve!!!!
