SIMPLE MUTTON ROAST RECIPE


Hi, today I'm going to share an easy and tasty mutton roast recipe which I frequently prepare at home. This is so simple and easy recipe with great taste. You will need very less ingredients to prepare this yummilicious mutton roast. It well goes with any royi or rice. I hope  you will give this a try and let me know how it turned out for you.


Ingredients :


Mutton : 500 grams
Medium sliced onions : 2
Medium sliced : 2
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tea spoons
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoons
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil : 2 table spoons
Coriander leaves : 2 to 3 strings
Salt to taste

Method :


Take mutton in a vessel, add all ingredients and mix it well.

Now pour water and cook until mutton get's tender.

Now heat oil in a pan and add cooked mutton and fry until mutton gets dry.

Now sprinkle coriander leaves and serve.

EASY FISH CURRY RECIPE/NELLORE CHEPALA PULISU 2 RECIPE





Hi friends...... happy Friday....... today I’m going to share authentic fish pulusu recipe. As I have already mentioned about this recipe in my Nellore chepala pulusu post. Today finally I’m sharing our tasty fish curry recipe with you all. This process is so simple and easy. No to saute or stirring is required in this recipe.you just add all ingredients and cook it well and your tasty pulusu is ready. This pulusu tastes great with white rice, dosa and apam.

Ingredients :


Any fish pieces : 1.5 kg
Tamarind : 100 grams
Raw mango : 1
Medium tomatoes : 4
Medium onions : 2
Garlic cloves : 5
Spotted green chili : 4
Curry leaves : 3 to 4 strings
Chopped coriander leaves :2 table spoons
Coriander powder : 2 table spoons
Chilli powder : 1 1/2 table spoons 
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoons
Roasted cumin seeds : 1 tea spoons
Roasted fenugreek seeds : 1 tea spoons 
Black pepper corns : 2 tea spoons 
Oil : 100ml
Salt to taste

Method :


First soak tamarind for 20 minutes, squeeze out the juice and keep a side.

Now take onions, garlic cloves, 2 tomatoes , pepper corns, cumin and fenugreek seeds in a blender and blend into a fine paste  without adding water.

Now take fish pieces in a wide heavy bottom vessel and add blended paste 


Now add tamarind juice and all other ingredients, mix it well and add 500ml of water and mix it well.

NoW add oil and raw mango pieces and put on fire.

Cook on high flame until gravy thickens. Don’t stir with ladle, just lift the vessel and shake it for a while. You should shake it only for 2 or 3 times while cooking. 

Now, when oil floats on top simmer the flame and cook for 5 minutes and remove from fire and serve.

Take onions,two tomatoes and garlic in a blender

Add peppercorns, roasted fenugreek. Cumin seeds

Blend into a paste

Now take fish pieces in wide and heavy bottom vessel

Add blended paste

Add salt and turmeric powder

Add coriander and turmeric powder

Add remaining tomatoes

Add curry leaves and green chillies

Add tamarind juice

Mix it well

Add water as required and mix it well

Now add raw mango slices

Add oil

Now put this vessel on fire

Cover and cook


When gravy thickens add some coriander leaves and simmer for 5 minutes and remove from fire

Now fish pulusu. ready to serve

PRAWNS PULAO RECIPE


I'm getting so many requests to share prawns biryani recipe. But I was waiting for large prawns. Recently hubby bought some tiger prawns then immediately I decided share yummy prawn biryani recipe. Though the title of this post is prawn pulao, in our family we call prawn biryani ;) . Taste of this biryani is delicious. But ,don't worry will share another yummy prawn biryani recipes some day.

Servings : 2 to 3 persons


Ingredients :


Large prawns : 300 grams(without shell)
Basmati rice : 2 1/2 cups / 500 grams
Medium sliced onions : 3
Slitted green chillies : 3 to 4
Medium sliced tomatoes : 3
Ginger garlic paste : 2 table spoons
Coriander leaves : 1/4 bunch
Mint leaves : 1/4 bunch
Curd : 125 grams/1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Lemon juice : 1 table spoon
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Oil : 1/2 cup/100ml
Ghee : 1 tea spoon
Cinnamon sticks : 2 small
Cloves : 4
Cardamom : 2

Method :


Wash and soak rice for 30 to 60 minutes

First heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel then add Cinnamon,cardamom and cloves, then add onions and green chillies saute till they changes into light golden color

Now add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 to 2 minutes then add tomatoes and saute till tomatoes are well cooked

Now add prawns and saute for 5 minutes then add all spice powders and saute for few minutes.

Now add curd and saute for few minutes then add Lemon juice,coriander and mint leaves and mix it well.

Now add rice and mix it gently and add 5 cups of water,mix it well and cover with lid.

Now let it cook until it's done by stirring between. When there is little water in. Pulao, sprinkle some ghee, cover and cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes and serve hot.

Heat oil in a vessel,add cinnamon,cardamom and cloves

Now add chillies and onions

Fry until they changes into golden color

Add ginger garlic paste,saute for few minutes


Add tomatoes and cook well

Add prawns

Cook for Few minutes

Now add salt, chilly and coriander powders and stir it well

Add curd and cook for few minutes


Add coriander and mint leaves

Squeeze some lemon juice and stir it

Now add rice

Mix it gently

Add water and cook by covering the lid

When there is little water,simmer the flame

Spread some ghee and cook for 5 to 10 minutes or water gets dry

Now it's done,remove from fire

Serve hot!!!!
