These cookies have have crunchy texture and nice aroma.if you don't find desiccated coconut in your place, no problem....use fresh grated coconut just slightly roast grates coconut and use in this recipe.

All purpose flour/maida : 2 cups
Powdered sugar : 1 cup
Butter : 100grams
Vanilla essence : 1 tspoon
desiccated coconut : 1 cup + 1 table spoon
Milk : 1/4 cup or as required
Pinch of baking powder
Bring butter to room temperature and cream it well
Add powdered sugar and beat it nicely till it changes into pale yellow color
Now add vanilla essence and milk then mix it well
Now add flour ,desiccated coconut and baking to butter cream mixture and mix it well with your hands
If required add some more milk and combine all ingredients well (don't over knead)
Put this mixture in refrigerator for 15 minutes
Preheat the oven for 10 minutes in 180 degrees Celsius
Now take dough from refrigerator and roll it with the help of rolling pin and sprinkle some desiccated coconut on top then slightly roll it
Now cut into shapes and bake for 15 to 18 minutes in 180 degrees Celsius
After baking let it cool completely and serve.
