Are you ready for another yummy Diwali recipe??? Then here is an another tasty Diwali recipe,that is basundi!!!!!!
Basundi is a popular Indian dessert mostly prepared on festivals. Basundi is a sweetened and thickened milk with lots of nuts and cardamom flavor. Making basundi Process is very simple, the only thing is you have to keep stirring continuously until milk reduces to half. then have to add nuts, sugar and saffron cook for few more minutes,chill and is very rich in taste and proteins too.

 ingredients :

Milk : 1 liter
Sugar : 3 table spoons
cardamom powder : 1 tea spoon
Chopped pistachios,cashew nuts and almonds : 1/2 cup
Saffron : 1 pinch (soaked in 2 table spoons of milk)

Method :

Take milk in a heavy bottom pan keep stirring continuously until milk reduces to half.

Now add sugar, chopped nuts, cardamom powder and saffron milk stir continuously for 5 minutes then remove from fire

Chill it in refrigerator for 2 hours and serve.

Note :

Stirring continuously is more important.

You can adjust sugar as per your taste.

It becomes more thicker after refrigerating.
Chop your nuts

Take milk in a pan

Start stirring

Stir continuously until it reduces to half

When milk gets thick add sugar

Add chopped nuts

Add cardamom powder

Add saffron milk

Stir it for 5 more minutes

It became thick Now, remove from fire

Let it cool completely

Chill it in refrigerator for 2 hours
