Are you happy by seeing this post? I know your answer will be yes!!!! Ice cream is everyone's favorite dessert right, even I love to eat ice cream's a lot. I will not bother about flavors, I like to eat any flavor. I hardly wanted to share ice cream recipes in summer season itself, but unfortunately I was in Coimbatore . So couldn't post much ice cream recipes in summer. Though it is a october month ,whether is very hot here in nellore. So decided make basic vanilla ice cream.two days back prepared this ice cream and turned perfect as usual.
This is my version of vanilla ice cream. I have some more versions in vanilla ice cream, will share in upcoming posts. Coming to this recipe, it is made with easily available ingredients that anyone can easily prepare at home. Tastes really delicious and creamy. If you don't have storebought cream you can use malai which is available in your refrigerator.

Full fat milk : 500 ml
Corn flour : 2 table spoons
Sugar : 1/2 cup or as per your taste
Milk powder : 3 table spoons
fresh cream/malai : 1/2 cup
vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
Take 1/2 cup of milk in a bowl add corn flour and milk powder, mix it well without lumps.
Now boil remaining milk, add sugar and stir it.
Now add cream or malai stir it then add corn flour and milk mixture by stirring continuously, stir it for 1 to 2 minutes then remove from fire
Let it cool for some time,then add vanilla essence. Let it cool completely and transfer this mixture to air tight container and freeze it for 3 to 4 hours.
Now take frozen milk and blend it into a smooth paste. Again transfer this mixture to air tight container and freeze it for 2 to 3 hours then blend it into a smooth cream. Repeat the same process for 1 or 2 times freeze it for 2 hours and serve.
|Take half cup of milk in a bowl add corn flour|
|Add milk powder|
|Mix it without lumps|
|Boil remaining milk|
|Stir it well|
|Now add cream/malai then stir it|
|Add corn flour mixture|
|Stir continuously without lumps, stir it for couple of minutes|
|Remove from fire and let it cool for some time|
|Add vanilla essence|
|Mix it well|
|Transfer this mixture to air tight container|
|Freeze it for 3 to 4 hours|
|Blend frozen ice cream|
|Blend into a fine paste|
|Transfer blended ice cream to same air tight container spread it evenly|
|Freeze it for couple of minutes|
|Repeat the same process for couple of times|
|Freeze it for 2 hours|
|Finally scoop it|
|Tasty homemade vanilla ice cream is ready!!!|
