These chicken stuffed wheat buns are the best way to satisfy your taste buds and tummy. Because, they are filled with lots of proteins and high fiber. You can easily bake these buns with easily available ingredients in your kitchen. Have them in dinner or just pack them kids lunch box your family will definitely like it.As a mother I don't prefer Maida every time for my kids,As we all know it's not good for health. So I try to prepare as possible with wheat flour. I served these yummy buns as a evening snacks for my kids. I have already shared veg version of this recipe you can check it here.

Ingredients :
For dough :
Wheat flour : 300 grams/ 3 cups
All purpose flour/maida : 100 grams/1 cup
Yeast : 2 1/2 tea spoons
Salt : 1 tea spoon
sugar : 3 table spoons
Milk : 100 ml
Warm water : 100 ml
Water as needed
Melted butter or oil : 1/2 cup
Egg : 1
sesame seeds : 1 table spoon
For filling :
Chicken mince : 250 grams
frozen or boiled peas : 1 cup
Chopped medium onions : 2
chopped green chilly : 1
Ginger & garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoons
Garam masala powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Pepper powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil : 2 table spoons
Chopped coriander leaves : 1/2 cup
Method :
First start with making dough.
Take Luke warm water add yeast and 1 table spoon of sugar and mix it well then set a side for 10 minutes or until yeast gets active.
Now take all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix it well.
Now add activated yeast mixture,Milk and oil, mix it well.
Add 1/2 cup of water and knead it well. Dough should be sticky while kneading, so add some more water or milk while kneading.
Knead dough on clean surface for 10 to 15 minutes or until it becomes non sticky.
Now place this dough in a bowl apply some oil on it. Now cover this bowl with cling wrap or wet cloth rest it for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until it rises into double in size.
Meanwhile to prepare filling heat oil in a pan add onions and green chillies saute for 1 minute then add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw flavors disappear.
Now add all spice powders and saute for few seconds. Then add chicken mince and peas, saute well.
Now add 200ml of water, cover and cook until water gets dry by stirring in between.
Now finally add pepper powder and coriander leaves saute for few seconds and remove from fire. Let it cool completely.
Now take risen dough punch down the air and knead it for couple of minutes.
Now divide this dough into 9 equal portions and stuff some filling in each portion and make a smooth ball.
Place these stuffed balls in lined baking tray.
Beat an egg and apply on buns gently and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes or until they changes into golden color in 200 degrees celsius in preheated oven.(preheat oven in 200 degrees celsius)
Now yummy baked buns are ready to serve.
Take warm water in a bowl add yeast |

Mix it well and set a side until yeast gets activated |

Now take both flours in a bowl add sugar and salt |
Add activated yeast |
Add oil or melted butter |
Add Milk |
Mix it well |
Add some more water if required and knead it well |
Knead it into a smooth and soft dough |
Apply some oil on dough |
Cover and place it in a warm place until it gets double in size |
Now to prepare filling heat oil in a pan add onions and chillies,saute well |
Add ginger garlic paste,saute well |
Add salt and all spice powders and saute it |
Add chicken mince |
Add peas |
Saute well |
Add water |
Cook until water gets dry |
Finally add pepper powder |
Add coriander leaves |
Saute for few seconds and remove from fire |
Let it cool completely |
Dough has raised well |
Punch down the air and knead it for couple of minutes |
Divide into equal portions |
Take one portion and make bowl |
Fill with some stuffing |
Seal the edges and make a smooth ball |
Arrange them in lined baking tray and place in warm place for an hour |
Buns are raised well Now |
Beat an egg |
Apply egg wash on buns gently |
Sprinkle some sesame seeds |
Bake them in preheated oven |
they are well baked now |
Yummy buns are ready |
Serve hot!!! |
