These Choco chip cookies are very special to me,because when I started to learn baking I used try different types of cookies and these choco chip cookies are the ones which I we loved them a lot. They tastes so buttery and chocolaty........ Yummy!!!!!!
These cookies are very easy to make. If you are a beginner in baking then you can easily try these recipe. Actually this recipe calls for Brown sugar, but I can't find Brown sugar in my place. So I replaced it with regular sugar itself. But if you have Brown sugar in your place use half Brown sugar and half regular sugar.
My one cup measures 200 ml
Ingredients : makes 25 to 30 cookies
All purpose flour/maida : 200 grams/2 cups
Butter : 100 grams
Sugar : 1 cup/180 grams (blend into powder)
dark choco chips : 1/2 cup/75 grams
Egg : 1
Baking soda : 1/2 tea spoon
Vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
Method :
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. (except choco chips)
First take butter and powdered sugar in a clean and dry bowl. Beat it well until mixture turns into pale yellow color.
Now add vanilla essence and egg beat it well.
Now take baking soda in a sieve and sift it well and add to butter mixture and mix it gently.
Now add choco chips and mix them gently.
Now refrigerate this mixture for 15 minutes.
Now take small portion of dough roll them into a ball and press them slightly with your hands.
Now arrange them in lined baking tray and bake them for 15 to 20 minutes in 180 degrees celsius in preheated oven. (preheat oven for 10 minutes in 180 degrees)
Now let them cool completely and store in airtight container and serve.
Note : when they are hot they will be soft, once they cools down they will become crisp. So don't get panic :)
