JEERA BISCUITS RECIPES/CUMIN SEEDS COOKIES RECIPE


These jeera biscuits are so tasty and very easy to make. They are filled with aromatic jeera flavour with buttery taste. I baked these biscuits yesterday and served with a glass of milk to my daughters. They really liked them a lot. You know? Now there are only 4 biscuits left in my cookie jar. When you take a bite they just melt in mouth. These biscuits tastes sweet and salty. I hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turned out for you.




Makes : 20 small biscuits

Ingredients :


All purpose flour/maida : 1 cup
Butter : 1/2 cup or 75 grams
Icing sugar /powdered Sugar : 1/4 cup
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Baking powder : 1 pinch
Jeera/cumin seeds : 1 table spoon
Milk : 2 table spoons or as needed

Method :


Take butter and sugar in a bowl and beat it well.

Now add all other ingredients and mix it well,then add milk little by little and form a dough.don't knead the dough,just combine all ingredients together.

Now cover the dough with cling wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Now dust some flour on clean surface and roll the dough into 1/4 inch height with rolling pin.

Now cut them into round shape with the help of cookie cutter or any lid.

Arrange them in lined baking tray.

Now preheat oven in 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 to 18 minutes in 180 degrees Celsius.

When baked, let them cool completely and serve. 

Note : when biscuits are hot they will be hot. Once they will cool down,they turns crispy.

Roll it

Cut into round shape with cookie cutter


Arrange them in baking tray

Bake them
