ladi pav/pav buns without oven and pressure cooker



Hi........I was really busy from 2 days, because of cousin's wedding,my daughter's School annual day celebrations.... that too my younger daughter jasra performed dance for 2 songs.she did her best in performing dance :)

                  So,gave a 2 days break to blogging......and now I'm back!!!!!!

                Today's recipe is every Indian's favorite street food ladi pav/pav buns!!!!!!
That too I'm going to bake these buns without oven and pressure!!!!!!!  Yes,you can bake these yummy soft buns without oven and without pressure cooker.

                   My kids love chat items so much......so I make every thing at home.they tastes best with bhaji that is made with vegetables.

               If you don't have oven no problem,you can bake easily without oven.

         give it a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients :

All purpose flour/maida : 2 cups
yeast : 1 tea spoon
Salt : 1 tea spoon
Milk : 3/4 cup or more
Sugar : 1/4 cup
Butter/Oil : 1/3 cup

My one cup measures : 200 ml

Preparation :

First take warm milk add yeast and sugar mix it well and keep a side for 10 to 15 minutes or till yeast proofen

Now take mixing bowl add flour and salt mix it well

Now add yeast mixture knead well, it should be sticky dough,now add butter / oil knead for 20 to 25 minutes and make a smooth dough

If you are kneading with hand mixer knead for 10 to 15 minutes

Now take a bowl put the smooth dough init and pour 2 tea spoons of oil then cover with cling wrap or lid and place in warm place and rest it for 1 hour or till it double in size

Now after dough has doubled punch down the air and knead for 2 to 3 minutes (sprinkle some oil /flour while doing this process)

Now divide this dough into equal portions

Take cake tin grease some oil and keep it a side

Now take divided dough and make them into smooth balls and put in cake tin then place this mold in warm place for 1 hour or till it raises into double

Now gently apply some milk on top

Now take a big vessel (which you cake tin can fit in it) then place a steel bowl or stand and cover with lid and heat it for 5 to 10 minutes in low flame

Now put raised pav buns tin in vessel and cover with lid

Now bake for 20 to 25 minutes in low flame

Now switch off the flame and let it cool completely then run a knife around mold and demold It

Now enjoy these yummy homemade pav buns!!!!!!!
 mix yeast and sugar in warm milk and keep a side
 add salt to flour mix it then add yeast mixture
 knead well then add butter and knead well
 Make a smooth and soft dough
 sprinkle some oil and let the dough raise
 Punch down the air and knead it make smooth balls
 Grease oil to cake tin and place balls in it
 Now let it raise and apply milk
 Heat a big vessel for 5 minutes on low flame
 bake it
Now enjoy the yummy homemade pav bhaji!!!!
