Hi, it's heavily raining here in nellore, just now made and had yummy moongdal kachori.......enjoying rainy days with hot hot kachoris, samosas, pakoras is really fun right...... Hmmm yummy!!!!!!
Ok,coming to today's recipe, today I'm going to share traditional Indian sweet recipe, that is ravva payasam recipe. This is very easy and tasty dish which you can make with very simple ingredients.

Ingredients :
Soji/semolina/upma ravva : 100 grams
Sugar : 250 grams
milk : 1 litre
water : 500 ml
Ghee : 1 table spoon
Cashew nuts/almonds : 15 to 20
Cardamom : 4
Condensed milk : 100 grams
Condensed milk : 100 grams
Method :
Heat ghee in pan fry cashew nuts until golden color and take into a plate.
Now in same pan add ravva and fry on medium flame for 3 to 5 minutes.
Now add hot milk and water by stirring continuously. ( mix water and milk and boil it)
Mix without lumps by stirring continuously and cook for 5 minutes by stirring continuously.
Now add sugar and condensed milk and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until it becomes thick. Then add cardamom.
It becomes more thicker when it cools. So adjust consistency by adding some milk.
Finally add fried nuts and serve.
Boil milk and water in a pan |
Heat ghee add nuts, fry and take into a bowl |
In same pan add ravva |
Fry for 3 to 5 minutes |
Add boiled milk by stirring continuously without lumps |
Cook until mixture becomes thick |
Add sugar |
Add Condensed milk |
Stir it well |
Add cardamom |
Cook for a while |
Finally add cashew nuts |
Serve |
