Kachori is one of my favorite snack. I love to eat kachori at any time. Though it takes some time to prepare kachori's, but it completely worth of it. You will have plate full of yummy street style kachori's in your hands. I have already shared moong dal khasta kachori recipe Here,and today I'm going to share another yummy matar(peas) kachori.

Makes : 10 kachoris
Ingredients :
For dough :
Maida/all purpose flour : 300grams
Salt : 1 tea spoon
Ghee or oil : 1/4 cup
For filling :
Frozen/Boiled peas : 1 cup
Coriander seeds : 2 table spoons
Fennel seeds/saunf : 1 tea spoon
Chopped green chillies : 2
Grated Ginger : 1 tea spoon
Hing/asafoetida : 1/4 tea spoon
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Amchur powder/dry mango powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil : 2 table spoons
Chopped coriander leaves : 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds/jeera : 1 tea spoon
Oil for deep frying
Method :
Take Flour and salt in a bowl and mix it well, then add ghee and mix and rub it well with your hands until flour becomes crumbly.
Now add required water and knead it well and make a tight dough. Cover with wet cloth and rest it for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile take peas in a blender and blend it coarsely.
Take coriander seeds and fennel seeds in a blender and blend it coarsely.
Now heat oil in a pan add Cumin seeds, then add green chillies,crushed coriander seeds,grated ginger and saute for few seconds.
Now add hing and all spice powders saute for few seconds on low flame.
Now add blended peas and saute until mixture gets dry. Finally add coriander leaves and saute for few seconds and remove from fire. Let it cool completely.
Now take dough and divide into equal portions.
Take one portion and make round shape and press it gently.
Now put some filling in the middle and close the edges and gently press it once with rolling pin.
Now drop these kachori In medium heat oil and fry on medium to low heat until they changes into golden color.fry on both sides by turning in between.
Take them into a plate and serve hot.

Now add blended coriander seeds mixture |
Add grated ginger and saute for few seconds on low flame |
Now add hing |
Add salt and other spice powders |
Saute for few seconds on low flame |
Now add blended peas |
Saute until mixture gets dry |
Finally add coriander leaves and saute for a minute |
Remove from fire |
Let it cool completely |
Now take rested dough and divide into equal portions |
Now take one portion of the dough |
Gently press it with rolling pin |
Put some filling in the center |
Fold the edges |
Now just press lightly with rolling pin |
Now they are ready to fry |
Drop kachori in medium hot oil |
Fry on low to medium heat |
Fry on both sides until they changes into golden color |
Take them into a plate |
Serve hot!!!!!! |
