Hi guys..... Today I'm Going to share easy and tasty tomato pachhadi recipe. It well goes with hot rice, dosa or roti. Whenever I want to make a simple meal this is my first option. This is such an easy and yet very tasty recipe. It has a spicy and tangy taste with authentic flavors.

Ingredients :
Ripe tomatoes : 6 to 7 medium size
Dried red chillies : 8 to 10
tamarind : 50 grams
jeera/cumin seeds/jeelakara : 1 tea
Fenugreek seeds/methi/mentulu : 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves : 2 strings
For tempering :
Oil : 100 ml
Mustard seeds : 1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
Curry leaves : 2 strings
Crushed garlic cloves : 5 to 6
Method :
First soak tamarind in water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Break Red chillies And keep a side.
Take a pan add dried chillies, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds and dry roast for couple of minutes and let them cool completely.
Now take them into a blender and blend into a powder.
Now add roughly sliced tomatoes and soaked tamarind,blend into a fine paste
Now heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds let them crackle then add cumin seeds, crushed garlic and Curry leaves and saute for few seconds.
Now add tomato mixture and salt
Cook until mixture becomes thick and chutney consistency by stirring continuously.
Now tasty tomato pachhadi is ready.... Serve with hot rice by add little ghee to it.

Roughly slice tomatoes |
Soak tamarind for 15 to 20 minutes |
Take roasted chillies in blender |
Blend into a fine powder |
Add tamarind |
Add tomatoes |
Blend into a fine paste |
Heat oil in a pan add mustard and cumin seeds |
Add crushed garlic |
Add curry leaves saute for few seconds |
Add Blended paste |
Add salt |
Cook well until it becomes thick |
Stir continuously |
It's done now |
Serve with hot rice |
