Hi, I'm back with my another yummy recipe. Today I'm going to share yummy lauki ka halwa. This halwa tastes so yummy and tasty. Yesterday I made this yummy halwa at home . Hubby bought bottle gourds which are grown in our farms. Immediately this recipe came to my mind and I made it. To make this halwa always use bottle gourds which are firm and not tender ones.

Servings : 6 to 8
Ingredients :
Bottle gourd/lauki : 1 kg
Sugar : 350 grams
Ghee : 100 grams
elaichi/cardamom : 4 to 5
Cashew nuts and almonds : 30
milk : 250 ml
Method :
First take bottle gourd, peel the skin and take out the soft part and grate them nicely.
Now heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan add nuts and fry until golden color and take into a plate.
Now in the same pan add grated bottle gourd and cook until water gets dry and raw flavors disappear.
Now pour milk , cover and cook until mixture turns soft by stirring in between. add some water if needed.
Now add sugar and mix it well. Cover and cook by stirring in between.
Now add khoya and mix it well.
Meanwhile add cardamom powder and mix it and cook until water gets dry by stirring continuously.
Finally sprinkle fried nuts and remove from fire and serve.

Cover and cook by stirring in between |

Now add khoya |
|
Mix it well |
|
Add cardamom powder |
|
Cook until water gets dry by stirring continuously |

Finally add fried nuts and remove from fire |
