Hi guys........today is an amazing recipe......that is famous Indian street food ragada patties!!!!!!!!
This dish is so amazing and so delicious,it just tastes same as street ragada patties........few days back prepared this recipe, whenever I prepare this dish my whole family enjoy this with joy.
if we want to make this dish for today evening we should first soak white peas in water in the morning.we also need some imli ki meethi chutney and green chutney for topping.i just topped with imli ki meethi chutney (check my blog for recipe) it tastes great!!!!!

Ingredients :
For ragada :
White peas (dried) : 250 grams
Chopped onions : 2
Chopped tomatoes : 2
chat masala :
turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon
chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoons
Coriander leaves : 2 tea spoons
Oil : 2 table spoons
Green chillies : 1
Cumin powder : 1/2 tea spoon
ginger garlic paste : 1 tea spoon
cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
For patties
Boiled and peeled potatoes : 4
bread crumbs : 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves : 2 table spoons
Green chilly : 1
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
cumin powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala : 1/2 tea spoon
For topping
Tamarind sweet chutney
lemon wedges
chopped onions
Chopped coriander leaves
First we will start making ragada
First soak peas in water for 6 to 8 hours
Now boil peas in pressure cooker by adding 1 tea spoon of salt and 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder till peas are soft.
Now mash peas coarsely and keep it a side
Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and let them crackle then add onions and green chillies and saute for 2 to 3 minutes then add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute
Now add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes gets soft then add all spice powders and saute for few seconds.
Now add boiled and mashed peas and stir it
Now pour 500 to 600 ml of water and cook ragada on low to medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes then switch off the flame
Now ragada is ready
Now to make patties
Take boiled and peeled potatoes in a bowl mash the potatoes and add all ingredients except oil and mix nicely
Now take some portion of mixture and make patties and keep it a side
Now heat flat tawa/pan and pour 1 table spoon of oil and place these patties in pan
Fry patties on both sides for 10 to 15 minutes by turning both sides
then take into a plate
Now take all ingredients for plating
Take a serving bowl/plate put some ragada in a plate then put 1 or 2 patties then sprinkle some chutney then sprinkle onions and coriander leaves and serve.
Heat oil then add cumin seeds and onions
then add green chillies
then add ginger garlic paste
add tomatoes and cook well
then add all spice powders
Saute well
Add cooked peas
Add salt
Pour water
cook on low flame
ragada is ready
mash potatoes
Add all spice powders
Add bread crumbs
Coriander leaves and green chillies
mix well
make a dough like this
make patties
Heat tawa/pan pour oil and fry patties
Fry on both sides
now take all ingredients
take some ragada into a plate put patties init
Sprinkle onions
Sprinkle coriander leaves
top with some chutney
Serve!!!!
