basic pizza dough recipe

This is basic dough to make pizza, stuffed buns, chicken bread, naan and many more.I'm going to share more recipes by using this dough. So,thought to share a separate post for this.

Yesterday prepared this dough to make chicken bread and it turned super yummy!!! I'm going to share that recipe tomorrow so stay connected to my blog. You can use this dough to make stuffed masala buns ,pizza and many more.

If you want to make pizza use olive oil instead of butter and veg oil and keep the dough little more sticky.

Try this recipe and let me know how it turned out for you.

Ingredients :

All purpose flour : 3 cups (350 grams)
Oil/butter : 1/2 cup
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
sugar : 1/4 cup (50 grams)
yeast : 2 tea spoons
Luke warm milk : 1/2 cup
Water as needed
Milk powder : 2 table spoons

Method :

First take a bowl add warm milk then add 1 table spoon of sugar then add yeast mix it well till sugar dissolves and keep it in warm place for 10 to 15 minutes and let it bloom.

Now take a mixing bowl add flour, sugar,Milk powder and salt mix well then add milk and yeast mixture mix it well

Now start kneading. add oil/butter while kneading.pour water as needed to knead dough.make sure dough should be sticky and soft.

If you are using hand mixer knead for 10 minutes.if you are kneading with hands knead for 20 minutes.kneading is very important while making buns or pizza.the more you knead your buns remains soft.

Apply some oil on top before raising.

That's it basic dough is ready to bake pizza or stuffed buns.

As I already mentioned above, to make pizza make dough little more sticky.
Add olive oil instead of butter/oil for extra flavor and taste. This dough makes 2 small pizzas.
