My love for baking never ends. Whether they are cakes,buns or cookies I love to bake at any time. Few days back baked these soft and fluffy pav buns. I have already shared eggless pav buns.
check here for eggless ladi pav without oven recipe. This time I used eggs in my pav buns they turned very soft and very fluffy. Served these soft ladi pav with Pav bhaji masala. (Will share it soon) baking homemade pav buns are really fun. It's texture and taste is hundred times better than storebought buns. So, I always bake my own pav buns at home.

Ingredients :
All purpose flour/maida : 400 grams /4 cups
Yeast : 2 tea spoons
Water : 1/2 cup and as needed
eggs : 2
sugar : 3 table spoons + 2 tea spoons
salt : 3/4 tea spoon
oil/butter : 1/4 cup+ some extra butter for greasing buns
My one cup measures 200ml
Method :
First take warm water (not hot) in a bowl add 2 tea spoons of sugar and yeast mix it well and keep in warm place for 10 to 15 minutes.
Now take flour add all dry ingredients mix it well then add all wet ingredients and yeast mixture.
Mix it well and start kneading,add some more water if needed, because dough should be sticky
If you are using hand mixer knead for 8 to 10 minutes. If you are kneading with hand knead for 20 minutes and make smooth dough.
Now apply oil to bowl put this kneaded dough and apply some oil on dough cover the bowl with cling wrap or lid and place this bowl in warm place for 45 to 60 minutes or till it raises into double.
Now punch down the air and knead for 2 to 3 minutes.apply some oil to your hands while kneading.
Now cut into equal portions
Now grease some oil to cake tin
Now make round smooth balls and put this into greased mold.
Now cover with cloth and place in warm place for 45 to 60 minutes or till it raises into double.
Now gently apply some milk on top
Now preheat oven for 10 minutes in 200 degrees
Now bake them for 10 minutes in 200 degrees then decrease the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for 5 to 6 minutes.
Now apply some butter on hot buns let it cool and demold it and serve.

Knead for few minutes |

Cut into equal portions |

Each portion should be in 60 to 75 grams |

Grease some oil to cake tin |
|
Make smooth balls and put them in mold and let them raise into double |

They are raised well |
|
Apply some oil on top |
|
Bake them |
|
Apply some butter on top |
|
Let it cool |
|
