This aloo curry is perfect for poori and chapathi. It tastes exactly as hotel ones which served with poori. As I promised yesterday here I'm sharing this yummy dish. Making this dish is so simple and easy. If you have boiled potatoes in your hand then everything will be done in 5 to 8 minutes.you can also use this curry for masala dosa.

Ingredients :
Boiled potatoes : 250 grams
sliced medium onions : 4
small chopped tomato : 1
Chopped green chilly : 2
curry leaves : 2 strings
oil : 1 table spoon
turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
coriander leaves : 2 strings
Mustard seeds : 1 tea spoon
chana dal/chanaga pappu : 2 tea spoons
Method :
First take boiled and peeled potatoes coarsely mash them and keep it a side.
Now heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and chana dal, then add onions, green chillies and curry leaves saute for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
Now add chopped tomato, salt and turmeric powder saute for few seconds then add 1 cup of water let it boil then add mashed potatoes cover and cook until water dries finally add coriander leaves and serve.

Heat oil and add mustard seeds and chana dal |
Add onions,curry leaves and chillies saute for few seconds |
Add tomatoes saute for few seconds |
Add turmeric powder and stir it |
Add water |
Add mashed potatoes |
Mix it well |
Cover and cook |
Cook until gravy becomes thick, finally add coriander leaves |
Remove from fire and serve |
Yummy potato masala is ready |
