From today I'm going to share lot of Christmas recipes with you. Christmas is one of my favorite festival, because I studied in infant Jesus public school in nellore. Our school has a grand Christmas celebrations every year. We kids used to enjoy those programs a lot and now we have a bunch of memorable moments with us.
Ok, now coming to this recipe,snowball cookies are yummy melt in mouth cookies. These are also known as Russian cookies,wedding cookies and Christmas cookies. These cookies tastes really amazing also pretty simple to make. They just melt in mouth when you take a bite. I prepared these cookies today itself and I can't stop myself from sharing this recipe with you all.
Ingredients :
All purpose flour/maida : 1 cup/120 grams
unsalted butter : 100 grams
Granulated sugar : 3 to 4 table spoons
vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
Finely chopped almonds or cashew nuts : 1/2 cup (I have coarsely blended)
Icing sugar or powdered sugar : 1/2 cup or as needed for coating cookies
Salt : 1/4 tea spoon
Method :
First blend granulated sugar into fine powder
Now take flour in to a bowl add blended sugar, finely chopped nuts, salt and mix it well.
Now add butter (room temperature) and vanilla essence, mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Now put this dough in refrigerator for 10 minutes and roll them into round balls and arrange in lined baking tray.
Preheat oven in 175 degrees for 10 minutes and bake cookies for 15 minutes in 175 degrees celsius.
Take out the cookies from oven, when they cookies are warm roll them in icing sugar or powdered sugar. Let them cool completely and give them another coat of icing sugar or powdered sugar and serve.
Take flour in a bowl add powdered sugar and salt |

Mix it well |
Now add butter |
Add vanilla essence |
Mix until well combined |
Refrigerate for 10 minutes |
Roll them into round balls |
Arrange them in lined baking tray |
Bake them |
Roll them in icing sugar or powdered sugar |
Take into a bowl |
