DHABA STYLE PALAK PANEER RECIPE



Hi, I hope you enjoyed this sunday. I had very busy Sunday with family. Today I'm going to share tasty dhaba style palak paneer recipe. It tastes so good as restaurants and dhaba. I still remember when I last prepared palak paneer. It was two years back. I didn't liked the taste as much, so I stopped making palak paneer at home. But sometime back I tasted palak paneer at restaurant, taste was so good. Then I wanted to try palak paneer recipe again. Then started browsing and saw so many YouTube videos. Finally this recipe impressed me a lot. I modified recipe little bit in my way.

           When I tasted this palak paneer ,taste was so amazing. I served this dish with rumaali roti,  My daughters enjoyed this combination a lot.trust me and try this recipe you will be amazed with the results :)

Ingredients :

Paneer : 250 grams (recipe here)
Spinach/palak/palakoora : 3 Medium bunches
large chopped onion : 1
Medium chopped tomato : 1
Beaten Curd : 3 table spoons
Cream/malai/meegada : 2 table spoons
Roasted cumin powder : 1 tea spoon
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 1 tea spoon
chopped garlic : 1 tea spoon
chopped ginger : 1 tea spoon
Green chilly : 2
salt to taste
Oil : 2 table spoons
cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon

Method : 

First blanch spinach/palak,green chillies in water for 2 minutes then drain the water and put spinach under tap water for few seconds and keep a side

Now take a pan add oil then add cumin seeds let them crackle then add chopped garlic and ginger, then add onions saute for 1 minute then add tomatoes saute for 2 to 3 minutes

Now add Chilly,Turmeric, coriander and cumin powders saute on low flame for few seconds then add beaten curd saute for few seconds and switch off the flame let it cool for some time

Now take blanched spinach and fried masala into a blender and blend into a fine paste. (add some water if required)

Now take same pan add blended spinach and cream and cook for 1 minute on medium flame then add paneer and cook on low flame for 2 minutes then remove from fire and serve hot.


Blanch spinach and chillies for couple of minutes

Put this under tap water and keep a side

Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds

Add ginger and garlic

Add onions and saute for a while

Now add tomatoes and saute for a while

Now add all spice powders saute them on low flame

Add beaten curd

Saute for few seconds and remove from fire

Take spinach into a blender

Add cooked masala


Blend into a fine paste

Now add this puree to a pan

Add cream

Add salt

Cook for a while

Add paneer 

Cook for 2 minutes on low flame and remove from fire

Serve hot!!!!
