Garlic naan is a soft and flavorful flat bread made with Maida.this garlic naan is mostly served in restaurants. They make them in tandoors. But it is not always possible to make naans at home. But today I'm sharing a trick to make garlic naan without tandoor.tastes same as restaurants. It tastes good with any veg or non veg gravies.
I mostly prepare naans with yeast. But in my begging days I use to make in this way. So, thought to share basic version first. More naan recipes are yet to come in my blog :) I served this with yummy nargisi kofta curry. Will share that recipe soon.
I hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turned out for you.
Ingredients : makes 8 to 10 naans

Salt to taste
Sugar : 2 table spoons

Curd : 1/2 cup
Milk : 1/2 cup

Now peel the skin of garlic cloves blend 20 cloves into paste and chop remaining garlic cloves
Now take chopped coriander and chopped garlic into a bowl mix it well and keep it a side
Now add garlic paste and all other ingredients (except butter and water) mix it well then add some water and knead into a soft dough. Dough should be little sticky.
Now apply some oil on dough rest it for 1 hour by covering with wet cloth.
Now after 1 hour divide dough into equal portions then take one portion of dough sprinkle some flour and roll it into oval shape put some chopped garlic and coriander on naan slightly press it with rolling pin then flip rolled dough and apply water and put this on hot tawa water side down.
Now let it cook until you notice bubbles on top then Flip tawa on hot flame and cook until you can see black spots on naan.
