Aloo ka paratha is an Indian and Pakistani recipe and one of the most popular dish.aloo stuffed with spiced masala mix,which is rolled out gently and cooked on hot tawa with butter or ghee.we can serve these paratha with pickle,curd and butter.
We enjoy these parathas so much in breakfast.they turns so soft and yummy.I like to make these parathas with butter, but if you don't want to use butter instead you can use ghee or oil.butter gives extra taste and flavor to these parathas.

Ingredients for dough :
Wheat flour : 2 cups (250 grams)
salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Oil : 1 table spoon
water as needed
For stuffing :
Boiled and peeled potatoes : 4 (medium)
Chopped green chillies : 2
Chopped coriander leaves : 1 table spoon
Chat masala : 1 tea spoon
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Chopped onions : 1 (medium)
Butter/ghee/Oil for applying
Method :
First take wheat flour in a bowl add salt and mix it well then pour enough water and form a dough. now pour 1 table spoon of oil and knead the dough for few minutes.rest the dough for 15 minutes by covering the lid.
Now take boiled and peeled potatoes in to a bowl mash them well
Now add all remaining stuffing ingredients and mix it well with your hands.
Now take your dough knead for few seconds and divide into equal portions.
Now divide this potato mixture into equal portions. Make Bigger portion than dough balls.
Sprinkle some flour on clean surface take one portion of dough and roll into a small paratha then put this potato mixture in middle as shown in the picture.
Now cover potato mixture with paratha and seal the edges
Now flip it and roll it very gently. Other wise your filling may come out. Don't forget to sprinkle some flour while rolling paratha.
Now heat tawa put this rolled paratha gently on tawa and fry on both sides by apply 1 to 2 tea spoons of butter on each side.
Now yummy aloo ka paratha is ready to serve.
Take flour add salt |
Pour water and form a dough |
Add oil and knead it |
Let it rest for 15 minutes |
Take boiled potatoes mash them |
Add remaining ingredients |
Mix them well |
Divide into equal portions |
Knead the dough for few seconds |
Take small portion of dough roll a small paratha |
Put the potato mixture in the middle |
Cover it like this |
Seal the edges |
Flip it |
Roll it gently |
Heat tawa and Place paratha on tawa |
Apply butter on both sides |
Fry on both sides |
It's done now |
