PANEER PASANDA RECIPE

 I want to try this recipe from long time.searched some videos in YouTube and found this easy method from varevah.com and tried this recipe the result was awesome..... Hubby loved it to the core. But you need some patience to make this recipe.It tastes so yummy. I love the creamy texture.whenever I want to make paneer dish I like to try new paneer recipes. I always use my homemade paneer (click here for recipe) .

              Paneer cut into triangle shape and stuffed with grated paneer and dry and shallow fried then cooked In a creamy rich tomato sauce. It well goes with roti,naan,phulka,fried rice......Sounds delicious,right? Then try this recipe and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients :

paneer : 400 grams pack
Tomatoes : 5 (medium)
Chopped onions : 2 (medium)
Cashew nuts : 10
Kashmiri chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil : 2 table spoons+ for deep frying
Fresh cream/malai : 2 table spoons
Kasuri methi : 1 table spoon
Sugar : 1 tea spoon (optional)

Whole Garam masala :

Cloves : 4
Cinnamon sticks : 2
Bay leaf : 1
Black cumin seeds : 1/2 tea spoon
Cardamom : 2


For stuffing :

Grated paneer : 2 table spoons
Coriander leaves : 1 tea spoon
Crushed cashew nuts : 1 table spoon
Salt : 1/4 tspoon
Raisins/kishmis : 2 tea spoons

For coating paneer :

Corn flour : 1/3 cup
Water as needed

Method :

First cut paneer into triangles then cut in middle as shown in picture (don't cut completely)

Now take a bowl add all stuffing ingredients and mix well with your hands

Now stuff this mixture in paneer

Now take corn flour in a bowl add water and make a smooth batter

Now dip stuffed paneer in corn flour batter and fry in hot oil by turning in between.

Now take them into a plate and keep a side

Now to make gravy heat oil add 2 table spoons of oil add whole Garam masala then add chopped onions and cashew nuts and saute for 2 minutes

Now add chopped tomatoes cook till tomatoes gets soft

Now add chilly powder and coriander powder saute for few seconds them pour some water and cover with lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes

Now switch off the flame and let the mixture cools completely then add this into a blender and blend into a fine paste

Now pour this mixture to a pan add 250 ml to 300 ml of water then add salt,kasuri methi and sugar .cook for 2 to 3 minutes then add fried paneer pieces. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame by adding cream then switch off the flame


Crush cashew nuts

Take grated paneer in a bowl

Add all stuffing ingredients

Mix well

Filling is ready

Cut paneer into triangles

Cut in middle like this

Put some stuffing in it

Pour water in corn flour

Make a smooth paste

Dip stuffed paneer in corn flour batter

Fry in hot oil

Fry for few minutes

Take them into a plate

To make gravy heat oil add whole Garam masala

Add onions 

Add cashew nuts saute for a while

Add tomatoes

Saute till tomatoes gets soft

Add coriander and chilly powder saute for few seconds

Pour water

Cook for few minutes

Remove from fire let the mixture gets cool

Blend tomato mixture into fine puree

Pour this mixture to a pan

Pour water

Add salt

Add kasuri methi

Add sugar and cook for a while

Add fried paneer

Cook for couple of minutes

Add cream cook on low flame for few minutes

Remove from fire

Serve hot!!!
