Khoya is a basic ingredient used in most of the Indian sweets.you can also serve this as dessert.I'm going to post lots of Indian sweets using this khoya.so thought to share this recipe.
I'm going to prepare yummy gulab jamuns.making khoya At home is so simple.but it takes some time to make.I don't like to use store bought khoya because they mix maida in it.so I always prepare my own khoya/kova at home to make delicious sweets. Quantity of khoya depends on milk you take.
Try this recipe to make yummy khoya.you can freeze this khoya in air tight container upto 7 to 10 days.bring it to room temperature before use.

Ingredients :
Milk : 1 liter
sugar : 1/3 cup
If you want unsweetened khoya just skip sugar.
Method :
First take heavy bottom pan add milk and bring it to a boil.
Now start stirring continuously. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
When it becomes thick add sugar and cook till sugar melts.
Cook till it becomes thick as shown in the figure then remove from fire
When it gets cool it becomes more thicker.
That's it homemade khoya is ready to use.
