cucumber mint cooler recipe



Cucumber  mint cooler is a refreshing drink in this summer. Cucumber helps our body to reduce heat.it so healthy for us.

                         So, I decided to make a healthy and tasty refreshing drink to enjoy this summer...... I have also added lot of mint leaves to give a pleasant flavor to this drink.

             This cucumber mint cooler is so tasty that your kids also enjoy drink. My kids enjoyed this cucumber mint cooler a lot.....

Ingredients :

Cucumbers : 2
Mint leaves : 1 cup
Lemon : 1
Sugar : 1/2 cup
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Ice cubes


  Method :

 First Peel the skin of cucumbers and and cut them into pieces and take out the seeds and chop them

 Now take a juice blender add all ingredients except ice cubes and blend into fine puree (squeeze the lemon)

 Now take a strainer add this puree to it and strain the juice by add sufficient water and discard the pulp

Now if you want add some more water

 Take a glass add ice cubes and pour this juice and serve.

 blend it
 Strain it by add water
 Pour in glass and serve

perfect crispy dosa recipe



Here is my favorite breakfast dosa recipe !!!!!!!!  I like dosa as a breakfast among all other breakfast dishes...... Especially my dosa which  I prepare at home.

               Dosa is a most popular south indian which can be served as dinner or breakfast.but we eat dosa as breakfast. There are so many varieties of dosa which I'm going to share in my upcoming posts.

            Today started breakfast recipes in my blog and so many yummy breakfasts recipes are yet to come.......

              Try this recipe and let me know how it turns out for you....
My one cup measures 200 ml

Ingredients :

Rice : 2 1/2 cups
Urad dal/minapappu/white lentils : 3/4 cup
Fenugreek seeds/methi/mentulu : 1 tea spoon
Cooked rice : 1/2 cup
Oil
Salt to taste
Cooking soda : 1/4 tea spoon

Method :

Soak rice, urad dal/minapappu and methi/mentulu in water for 6  to 8 hours and wash it

Now add cooked rice to Soaked rice and blend it in mixie by adding water

Blend it to fine paste

Check with your fingers it should be very smooth then put in steel or plastic container and cover with lid

Let it ferment for 8 hours or over night

After 8 hours add salt and cooking soda and mix well

Pour sufficient water and make batter (batter should be not be thick nor thin)

Now heat pan make dosa and pour 2 tea spoons of oil and roast it and take into a plate and serve



 Soak rice, urad dal and methi then add cooked rice
 Blend into fine paste by adding water
 Blend it and pour batter into plastic or steel container and cover the lid then let it ferment
 after fermentation add salt and cooking soda
 Pour water and mix well
 make dosa like this
Pour oil on top and roast it and take into a plate and serve. 

Egg biryani recipe



Egg biryani is very tasty and flavorful Indian dish.we can cook eggs in many ways like egg fry,egg curry etc...I'm going to post many egg recipes here in this blog.but today king of egg recipes that is egg biryani.....

           making egg biryani is so simple and easy.this is my version of egg biryani which I prepare at home always. Taste is so good and yummm!!!!!  So,don't compare with other egg biryani recipes....

               I used my own homemade biryani masala in this recipe,(Check my blog posts for homemade biryani masala recipe) you can also use store bought one.

Ingredients :

Basmati rice : 500 grams
Boiled eggs : 5 to 6
sliced medium onions : 4
Sliced medium tomatoes : 4
Ginger & garlic paste : 1/2 cup
oil : 1/2 cup
Ghee : 1 table spoon
Salt to taste
bay leaf : 1
Star anise : 1
Medium cinnamon sticks : 2
Cloves : 4
Cardamoms : 2
Coriander leaves : 1/2 cup
Mint leaves : 1/2 cup
Green chillies : 4
curd : 3/4 cup
Lemon. : 1 small
Biryani masala : 1/2 tea spoon
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder : 2 tea spoons

My one cup measures 200 ml

Preparation :

First wash and soak rice for 30 minutes

Then boil 6 to 8 cups of water in a vessel by adding one tea spoon of salt in it.

Cook till it is 80% done then drain the water and keep it a side

Now heat oil in heavy bottom vessel then add whole garam masala init and let it splutter

Now add green chillies and onions fry till they changes into golden color then add ginger&garlic paste and saute for few minutes till the raw flavours disappear

Now add tomatoes and cook tomatoes becomes soft

Now add chilly Powder,Coriander powder and biryani masala and saute for 2 minutes
Then add curd ,mint leaves ,Salt and coriander leaves and saute for a minute.

Now add boiled eggs and Cook for few minutes then pour 1 glass of water and cook For few minutes and add cooked rice and stir gently and cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes and switch off the flame

Yummy egg biryani is ready to serve!!!!



 heat oil add whole Garam masala and onions saute them
 then add ginger garlic paste saute it
 then add tomatoes and cook well
 then add masala powders saute well
 Add curd saute well
 Add eggs and salt
 Add lemon juice,mint leaves,coriander leaves and water cook it
 Cook rice in boiling water and drain it
 Add rice to egg masala and gently mix it
 pour ghee on top and cook on low flame
Mix well and serve hot

malai kulfi recipe




Hi............. Here is an another amazing yummy recipe malai kulfi!!!!!!!!!!  I know you will be very happy by seeing this recipe.......few days back prepared this yummy malai kulfi to beat this summer,my kids enjoyed this kulfi a lot.


            You need very few ingredients to make malai kulfi. Malai kulfi is made of fresh milk and flavour of cardamom/elachi and some nuts.these nuts gives extra taste to kulfi.

              As I told you in before posts that I'm going to post lots of refreshing recipes and today posted malai kulfi and many more refreshing recipes are yet to come.......

Makes 4 kulfies

Ingredients :

Milk : 500 ml
Sugar : 4 table spoons or as per your taste
Crushed cardamoms or powder : 4
Sliced dry fruits : 2 table spoons

Method :

First take a pan pour milk and start stirring continuously for 4 to 5 minutes by scrapping the edges this makes malai in it.

Now add sugar and crushed cardamoms ,
sliced nuts and stir till it reduces 250 ml


Now switch off the flame and let it cool completely

Now fill the kulfi  molds with kulfi mixture and freeze it for 6 to 8 hours

Now run kulfi molds under running water for few seconds and demold it then sprinkle remaining nuts and serve!!!!!
 boil milk and start stirring continuously by scrapping the edges
 add sugar and cardamoms and stir it
 Now add nuts and stir
 When it becomes thick switch of the flame and cool completely
 fill the molds

 Freeze it
 Run under tap water for few seconds and demold it and serve

strawberry muffins recipe


Hai......hope you all doing well.....I'm here with one more tasty homemade Recipe that is yummy strawberry muffins!!!!!!

               Yes,today I'm going to show you this yummy strawberry muffins recipe,i know you will drool by listening to this name...... I like the strawberry name it's self,now I prepared muffins with them how cool!!!!!!

          they tastes really yummy and good,i used preserved strawberries in this recipe..... But I suggest you to use fresh or frozen strawberries.i didn't find fresh strawberries in my place right now so I replaced with preserved strawberries,but they also tasted great.

           leave some strawberry chunks while crushing strawberries it tastes great in muffins.

      I hope you will like this and give it a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients :

All purpose flour/maida : 1 cup
Crushed strawberries : 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar : 1/2 cup
Vanilla/strawberry essence : 1 tea spoon
Large egg : 1
Milk if required
Unsalted butter : 50 grams
Baking powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Baking soda : 1/4 tea spoon

Makes six muffins

Method :

First take a mixing bowl add butter (butter should be in room temperature) cream it well

Now add powdered sugar and beat till it gets light and fluffy

Then add egg and beat it for 2 to 3 minutes

Now add essence and mix it well

Take a sieve add flour, baking soda and baking powder sift it well and add to butter and egg mixture

Now mix all ingredients then add crushed strawberries and mix it then pour some milk if your batter is too thick and fold gently

Now line your muffin tray with paper cups and fill half of the cups with batter

Now bake this in 180 degrees Celsius for 12 to 15 minutes

Now serve warm or cool!!!!!

Preheat oven in 180 degrees for 10 minutes
 cream butter and sugar well
 then add egg and whisk it well
 now add essence and whisk it well
 now sift remaining dry ingredients together and add butter mixture and mix well
 add crushed strawberries and mix it then pour some milk as required and fold it gently
 fill muffin mold with batter and bake it
Now enjoy the taste strawberry muffins

rose milk popsicle recipe



Hi.......beat this summer with yummy rose milk popsicle.........i enjoy making popsicles, ice creams, kulfi, juices in this summer. In fact I will be waiting for summer season to make many more refreshing recipes.

             It's very hot here in my place, so can't wait for May or April to make popsicles and this is the first popsicle recipe in my blog. Many more refreshing drinks, ice creams and popsicles are yet to come :)

       when I was kid there was a ice factory beside our house,and I used buy lot of popsicles everyday and this rose milk popsicle was the king of all popsicles over there.We enjoy those popsicles everyday..childhood days are really golden days.....

             Ok,coming to this recipe, this is simple and easy recipe to make.i used rooh afza in this recipe......if you have rose syrup you can use that too.

       Try this recipe and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients :

Fresh milk : 500 ml
Sugar : 1/3 cup
Condensed milk : 1/2 cup
Rose syrup/rooh afza : 1/2 cup

Method :

First boil milk in a pan stir for 3 to 4 minutes then add sugar and condensed milk and cook for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off the flame

Let the mixture cool completely

Now add rose syrup /rooh afza to cooled milk mixture and mix it nicely

Now fill popsicle mold with rose milk mixture and put the sticks and freeze for 6 to 8 hours or over night

After freezing it run popsicle mold under running water for few seconds and demold it

If you don't have popsicle molds no problem,just take small steel or plastic glasses pour rose milk mixture in it and cover with aluminum foil or cling wrap just make a hole and insert ice cream sticks or spoons and freeze it.

Now serve this cool cool popsicles and enjoyyyyy!!!!
 boil milk
 add sugar and stir it
 Add condensed milk then stir for few minutes
 let it cool completely then pour rose syrup and mix it
 Fill popsicle molds with rose milk mixture and freeze it
 to make popsicles in glass fill glass with rose milk mixture cover with cling wrap and make a small hole and Insert a spoon or ice cream stick and freeze it
 Run under running water for few seconds then demold it and enjoy the yummy popsicles!!!!
