chicken changezi is a famous dish in India and pakistan. It is popular side dish for rice and any flat Indian and Pakistani bread. It has very rich gravy. Chicken marinated and cooked in lots of flavors, milk, curd and cream. It tastes really delicious. gravy contains very creamy texture. I served this gravy with jeera rice. Combination was so yummy. You can serve this with any. Flat breads or rice.
I have mentioned ginger garlic paste and oil 2 times so don't be confused read full process.

Ingredients :
To marinate chicken :
Chicken : 500 grams
Ginger garlic paste : 1 table spoon
Chilly powder : 1 tea spoon
salt to taste
Lemon juice : 1 table spoon
For gravy :
Medium sliced onions : 2
cashew nuts : 25 grams
Fresh cream : 1/4 cup
Beaten Curd : 1/2 cup
garam masala : 1 tea spoon
Milk : 150 ml
Kasuri methi/dried fenugreek leaves : 1 table spoon
Chat masala : 1 tea spoon
Ginger garlic paste : 1 table spoon
Coriander powder : 1 table spoon
Medium tomatoes : 3 (blend into fine puree)
Oil/ghee/butter : 4 table spoons
oil : 3 table spoons
Coriander leaves : 1 table spoon

Method :
First take chicken add all marination ingredients mix it well and rest it for 1 hour
Now heat ghee/oil/Butter in a pan add sliced onions and cashew nuts fry till they turns into golden color and take them into a plate let them cool completely and blend into fine paste by adding water.
Now heat 3 to 4 table spoons of oil add marinated chicken and beaten curd cook till water dries and keep this a side
Now take pan which we fried onions add ginger garlic paste saute for 1 to 2 minutes
Now add tomato puree,garam masala and coriander powder cook on medium to high flame for 3 to 4 minutes
Now add milk, cream, chat masala and onion and cashew paste
Cook on medium flame till oil leaves it's sides
Now add cooked chicken and saute well
Now pour water and cook on medium flame till chicken gets tender then add kasuri methi.
Finally sprinkle some coriander leaves and remove from fire.
Yummy chicken changezi is ready to serve.
NOTE : Adjust gravy consistency by adding more or less water as per your taste

Stir it |

Cook till oil leaves it's sides |

Add fried chicken |
|
Add kasuri methi |
|
Pour water |
|
Cook on medium flame |
|
Add coriander leaves and remove from fire |
