CARAMELIZED BANANA WITH OAT MEAL PORRIDGE RECIPE/CARAMELIZED BANANA OAT MEAL RECIPE


After posting and having a lot of sweet recipes, now my focus is on some healthy recipes. Yes, after having heavy loaded ghee sweets my hubby is teasing me that I gained weight these days (hahaha) so I decided to burn some fat. So,I'm having healthy dishes from yesterday. But I can't compromise in taste. Yes, now you can expect some healthy and tasty recipes from me :)

      Coming to this recipe, it is a tasty and  healthy breakfast recipe with banana and oats which tastes heavenly. Oats cooked with milk, jagery/Brown sugar then topped with caramelized banana tastes absolutely delicious. Recipe source : yummy tummy

Ingredients :

Oats : 1/2 cup
Brown sugar/jaggery : 2 tea spoons
Water : 3/4 cup
Milk : 3/4 cup

For caramelized banana

Small ripe banana : 1
jaggery/Brown sugar : 2 tea spoons
Butter : 1 tea spoon

Method :

First take butter in a pan melt it then place banana pieces and saute for few seconds

Now add jaggery/Brown sugar saute for 2 to 3 minutes and take into a bowl

Now in same pan add milk,water, oats and jaggery/Brown sugar cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until oats are done

Now take it into a bowl top with caramelized banana and serve.
Peel and cut banana

Melt butter in a pan

Add banana pieces

Add Brown sugar/jaggery

Saute for few minutes

Remove from fire

Take milk and water in same pan

Add oats

Add jaggery/Brown sugar

Stir it


Cook for 2 to 3 minutes

Remove from fire

Top with caramelized banana

Serve!!!!! Yum, yum!!!!

CUCUMBER RAITA RECIPE


Cucumber raita is a tasty dish well goes with any biryani, pulao, fried rice or paratha. As we all know how cucumber is healthy for our body. It cools our body temperature.making this cucumber raita is pretty easy with only few ingredients.I love the aroma of cucumber in this dish.I'm sure you will definitely like it.

 ingredients :

Cucumber : 1
Thick curd : 200 ml
Salt to taste
Finely chopped medium onion : 1
chopped green chilly : 1

Method :

First peel and take out the seeds and chop cucumber.

Take curd and beat it well. Then add chopped cucumber,onions,green chilly and salt, mix it well and serve.

Peel and cut cucumber

Finely chop it

Beat curd well

Add chopped cucumber pieces to curd

Add onions and green chilly

Mix it well

Serve!!!!

MADATA KAJA RECIPE/KAKINADA KAJA RECIPE/KHAJA RECIPE



Madata khaja is a popular sweet dish in Andhra pradesh. It also known as kakinada kaja in Andhra pradesh. Kakinada is a district in Andhra which is popular for this sweet. I have tasted this sweet many times but never tried at home.  watched so many videos and  I tried this yummy sweet and turned out so perfect as shop sweets (not shape lol).

         It tastes absolutely delicious. It is crunchy and juice. This is also my last recipe for this Diwali. So wanted to post easy and tasty recipe.making this madata kaja is so simple and easy. But you need patience while frying kajas. They should be fried on medium flame. Then only they will cook from inside.

Ingredients :

All purpose flour/maida : 250 grams
Ghee : 4 table spoons
Pinch of salt
sugar : 300 grams
Cardamom powder : 1/2 tea spoon
oil for deep frying

Method :

First take flour add pinch of salt mix it well. Then add 2 table spoons of ghee mix and rub it well.

Now add water little by little and knead q soft dough and rest it for 20 minutes.

Now sprinkle some flour on clean surface and take dough roll into a thin sheet

Now spread 2 table spoons of ghee all over the sheet and sprinkle some flour on all over the sheet

Now roll gently roll the sheet tightly then apply some water on edges and seal it.

Now cut them into pieces, take one piece and just gently press on it with rolling pin and drop them in medium hot oil

Fry on medium heat until they changes into golden color by turning on both sides.

While kajas are frying take sugar add 1 cup of water and boil until it turns to one string consistency. Add cardamom powder and remove from fire.

Now add fried kajas in sugar syrup and soak for 5 minutes then take out kajas from sugar syrup into a plate let them cool completely and serve yummy kajas.
Mix salt and flour add ghee

Mix it well

Flour should be crumbly

Add water and make a dough

Cover and rest it for a while

Sprinkle some flour on clean surface take dough

Roll it thinly

Spread ghee


Sprinkle some flour

Gently roll it tightly


Apply water on edges and seal the edges

Cut into pieces


Take one piece

Gently press it with rolling pin


Drop them in medium hot oil


Mean while boil sugar syrup to one string consistency add cardamom powder

Fry kajas on medium heat

Fry until they turns into golden color

Drop them in prepared sugar syrup

Soak for 5 minutes

Take kajas into a plate

Let them cool completely

Yummy madata kaja is ready to serve!!!!!
