CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING RECIPE




After sharing my Vanilla butter cream recipe,here I'm with my another yummy chocolate buttercream recipe. Though I'm not a Big fan of buttercream, but I like this chocolate buttercream a lot. It tastes and smells so good. Also very easy to make. You can frost your cakes and cupcakes easily with this chocolate buttercream. I used to this whole batch of chocolate buttercream to frost my yummlicious moist chocolate cake. Taste was heaven!!!!! Will share that recipe soon. Ingredients :


Unsalted butter : 100 grams
Icing sugar : 400 grams
Cocoa powder : 3/4 cup (75 grams)
Milk : 3 to 4 table spoons
Vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon

Method :


First sift icing sugar well to avoid lumps and keep a side.

Now take butter in a clean and dry bowl (butter should be at room temperature)

Now beat butter well for 3 to 5 minutes.

Now add half of the icing sugar and beat it well.

Now add remaining icing sugar,sift cocoa powder and add it.

Now beat it well,then add vanilla essence and 2 to 3 table spoons of milk and whisk it well until it becomes smooth and creamy. (make sure milk should be at room temperature or chilled,don't use hot or warm milk)

Note : if your butter cream is too stiff just add 1 or 2 table spoons of milk and whisk it.

Sift icing sugar well and set a side

Take butter in clean and dry bowl(make sure butter should be at room temperature)

Beat butter well for 3 to 5 minutes

Add half of the icing sugar

Beat it well


Now add remaining icing sugar

Sift cocoa powder

Add it and beat it well

Now it looks crumbly,now add essence and milk

Beat it for couple of minutes 

Now it is ready to frost your cakes!!!!

BASIC VANILLA BUTTER CREAM FROSTING RECIPE



Butter cream frosting is requested by many viewers in my blog. But I always said them "sorry we don't like butter cream in our cakes and never made it" but when I started my cake business I have started making butter cream to frost my cakes. so thought to share this basic vanilla butter cream recipe with you all.

    This is a basic butter cream recipe with which you can frost your cakes and cupcakes.if you are a butter cream lover then you will sure like this recipe.you can add any flavor and color to this butter cream as per your choice.these measurements which are given below can easily frost  1 kg cake.i have another recipe of chocolate butter cream and will share that recipe soon.

Ingredients :


Unsalted butter : 100 grams
Icing sugar : 300 grams
Vanilla essence : 2 tea spoons
Milk : 2 to 3 table spoons

Method :

First sift icing sugar well and keep a side.


Bring butter to room temperature and take into a bowl.

Now beat butter well for 4 to 5 minutes until it changes into pale yellow color.

Now add half of the icing sugar and beat it on low speed until it's creamy.

Now add remaining icing sugar and beat it. It looks crumbly now,don't get panic at this stage, now add vanilla essence and 2 table spoons of milk. (make sure milk should be at room temperature, not warm or hot)

Now beat cream well for 1 to 2 minutes.(add 1 table spoon of milk if your butter cream and beat it if it  is too stiff)

That's it easy homemade butter cream is ready to frost.

DARK CHOCOLATE GANACHE FROSTING RECIPE


Dark chocolate ganache is a basic and easy to make icing recipe. Also this is my favorite icing for cakes and cup cakes. I don't like buttercream icing for my cakes and cupcakes. I mostly use whipped cream or chocolate ganache to decorate my cakes. They are pretty simple to make also very rich in taste.I have already shared chocolate ganache recipe in my rich chocolate cake.it was shiny and glossy ganache recipe. But this chocolate frosting can handle very easily. I used milk chocolate to make this recipe. You can also use dark chocolate.

Ingredients :

Dark chocolate/milk chocolate : 500 grams

Fresh cream : 250 grams (I used amul low fat cream)

Method :


First scrape chocolate with peeler or knife and make small pieces, take into a bowl.(chocolate should be at room temperature)

Now take cream in sauce pan heat on medium flame until it start bubbling. Remove from fire and pour this hot cream on chocolate.

Mix gently without lumps.if there are any chocolate pieces just melt in double boiler on medium flame for few seconds and remove from fire.

Now cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, after couple of hours it will get firm.frost your cakes or cup cakes.
Scrape chocolate with peeler or knife

Take it into a bowl

Take cream into a sauce pan

Heat on medium flame (don't over heat cream)

Pour this on chocolate

Mix it gently


Put this on double boiler, melt for few seconds

Now it's all melted

Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours

Use for icing cakes and cupcakes
