Easy carrot halwa recipe/pressure cooker gajar ka halwa recipe



Halwas are my all time favorite desserts. I enjoy making different types of halwa at home. But in my opinion carrot halwa and Karachi halwa are the very popular sweets in India. I have already shared carrot halwa recipe which is cooked in kadhai here. Today I'm going to share easy pressure cooker version of carrot halwa which tastes so delicious. So, let's get started.....


Servings : 4 to 5


Ingredients :


Carrots : 500 grams
Cashewnuts and almonds : 10 each (sliced)
Cardamom powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Sugar : 250 to 300 grams or as per your taste
Milk : 500 ml
Condensed milk : 1/2 cup
Ghee : 1/3 cup/75ml

Method :


First peel and grate carrots well and keep a side.

Now heat ghee in a pressure cooker,add nuts and fry until they changes into golden color and take into a plate.

Now add grated carrots and saute for 5 minutes or until raw flavors disappear.

Now add milk and mix it well, put the pressure cooker lid and cook for 2 to 3 whistles and remove from fire.

Now let all the pressure goes out. Remove the lid carefully and put on fire.

Now add sugar and stir constantly until Sugar melts and water gets dry. 

Finally add fried nuts,cardamom powder and condensed milk, pour some ghee on top, stir it for 2 to 3 minutes and remove from fire.

Grate carrots well

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker add nuts

Fry until they changes into golden and take into a plate

Now add grated carrots

Saute for 5 minutes


Pour milk and mix it well

Put the pressure cooker lid and cook for 2 to 3 whistles

Now let the pressure goes out and carefully remove the lid

There is still some milk, stir it well

Add sugar and cook it well

Add cardamom powder

Stir constantly until water dries
Finally add fried nuts

Saute for few minutes and remove from fire

Serve!!!!!

BEETROOT HALWA RECIPE


Beetroot halwa is a tasty and melt in mouth halwa. It is so easy to make super delicious in taste. Today I'm going to show you pressure cooker Method which is very easy to prepare.I hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turned out for you.



Servings : 5 to 6


Ingredients :


Beetroots : 500 grams
Sugar : 1cup/200 grams or as per your taste
Condensed milk : 1/2 cup (optional)(Recipe here)
Dry fruits : 1/2 cup(I used almonds,cashewnuts and raisins)
Milk : 500 ml
Crushed cardamoms : 4
Ghee : 1/4 cup

Method :


Wash and peel beetroot skin and grate them.

Now heat ghee in pressure cooker add dry fruits,fry until golden color and take into a plate.

Now add grated beetroots and saute for 5 minutes or until raw flavors disappear.

Now add milk and stir it well. Close the pressure cooker lid and cook for 2 whistles and remove from fire.

Now let the all pressure go out from pressure cooker and remove the lid.

Now switch on the flame and add sugar and cook for few minutes by stirring.

When halwa thicknes add condensed milk,fried dry fruits and cardamoms.

Cook by stirring constantly until it mixture turns to halwa consistency and remove from fire and serve.

Peel the skin

Grate them well

Now heat ghee in a pressure cooker and dry fruits and nuts

Fry until they changes into golden color

Take them into a bowl

Now add grated beetroots

Stir until raw flavors disappear

Now add milk

Stir it well

Close the lid and cook for 2 whistles

Now let the all pressure goes out and remove the lid and stir it well

Add sugar

Cook it well

Now add condensed milk

Add cardamoms

Add fried nuts

Cook it well by stirring constantly until mixture thickens

Now it's done,remove from fire

Serve

EASY BREAD HALWA RECIPE/NAAN KA MEETHA RECIPE



Hi guys........today I'm going to share an easy bread halwa recipe. Which tastes so delicious and yummy. This halwa is mostly served in Muslim weddings here in nellore. I prepare this halwa occasionally at home. Because it contains lots of calories. Once in 2 or 3 months is ok.  but I bet you will not leave this halwa with just one bowl. It just melt in mouth. You will need just very few ingredients to make this yummy halwa.even a beginner in cooking can easily try this at home.

Ingredients :


Medium bread slices : 8 to 10
Khoya/kova or condensed milk : 1/2 cup or 100 grams(click here for recipe)
Cashew nuts and almonds : 1/3 cup
Milk : 400 ml
Ghee : 2 table spoons
Pinch of red food color (optional)
Oil or ghee for deep frying
Sugar : 250 grams
Cardamoms : 2 to 3

Method :

First take bread slices and dry them in Sun for 15 minutes or under fan for 30 minutes and cut them into halves.


Now heat some ghee in a pan add cashew nuts and almonds,fry until they turns to golden color and take into a plate.

Now heat oil or ghee in a pan and  deep fry bread slices on both sides until they changes into dark golden color and take them into a plate.

Now take khoya in a bowl add 200 ml of milk and mix it well,keep this a side.

Now take sugar in a pan, add 250ml of water and put this pan on flame.

Now stir it well until sugar dissolves completely and sugar syrup starts boiling.

Now add fried bread pieces and stir it well for 2 minutes.

Now pour khoya and milk mixture,remaining milk and stir it well. And cook for 2 minutes.(mash bread pieces with spatula)

Now, add food color,  ghee and crushed cardamoms and stir it for 1 to 2 minutes or until it reaches to desired consistency.

Finally sprinkle fried nuts and serve.


Dry bread slices under fan or Sun light for a while

Cut them into halves

Take khoya in a bowl add some milk

Mix it well and keep a side

Now heat some ghee in a pan,add nuts

Fry them and take into a plate

Now heat ghee or oil in a pan

Gently drop bread slices

Fry on both sides

Fry until they changes into golden color

Take them into a plate


Take sugar in a pan

Add some water

Let it boil, no need of string consistency

Now add fried bread slices

Stir it well for couple of minutes

Now add khoya mixture

Add remaining milk

Stir it well

Mash bread slices well with spatula

Add food color and stir it

Now add ghee

Add crushed cardamoms and cook until mixture reaches to halwa consistency

Finally add fried nuts

Now it's done

Yummy bread halwa is ready

Yum.....yum....!!!!!
