Christmas bon bons recipe



These Christmas bon bons are so chocolatey and so delicious. Also very easy to make. I used my leftover Christmas pudding to make these bon bons,but you can even use plum cake in this recipe. Tastes so good.just prepare and pack them and gift it for your loved ones.

Ingredients :


Christmas pudding or plum cake : 400 grams
Dark chocolate : 200 grams
White chocolate : 100 grams
Honey : 1/4 cup
Green and red tutti frutti for garnishing.

Method :


Take your Christmas pudding and crumble it well and keep a side.

Now take dark chocolate and shred it well and melt it over a double boiler.

Now add this melted chocolate and honey, mix it really well.

Now make small balls and arrange them in lined tray.

Now freeze them for 30 minutes.

Now take white chocolate in a bowl and melt it over a double boiler.

Now put half spoon of white chocolate on freezed balls and garnish with tutti frutti and serve.

Take some Christmas pudding

Crumble it

Take dark chocolate and shred it

Melt it over a double boiler

Add crumbled pudding

Mix it well

Roll them into small balls

Arrange them in a lined tray and freeze it for 30 minutes

Take white chocolate

Melt it

Now pour some white chocolate over it

Garnish with tutti frutti

Serve

SRILANKAN MILK TOFFEE RECIPE/HOMEMADE MILK TOFFEE RECIPE


I wanted to try this srilankan milk toffee recipe from quite long time. First I have seen this recipe in kitchen fantasies group in fb and these yummy milk toffees tempted me everytime.I adopted this recipe from there and  Finally I made them couple of days back and turned out so well.my daughters loved them a lot and took some toffees to school to share with their friends(which they always do :) )

Ingredients :


Condensed milk/milkmaid : 400grams((recipe here)
Sugar : 350 grams
Water : 1/2 cup/125ml
Vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon
Chopped cashew nuts : 50 grams
Butter : 50 grams

Method :

Grease ghee or butter to a plate and keep a side.

Take condensed milk,water and sugar in a heavy bottom pan and put on low flame. Stir constantly.


Now, when mixture thickens slightly changes it's color, add butter,cashew nuts and vanilla essence and stir continuously on low flame.

Keep stirring constantly until mixture turns light Brown color and thick immediately transfer this into greased plate and spread it evenly with greased spatula.

After 10 minutes cut them into squares,let it cool completely and serve.

Note :


It takes 45 minutes for whole process. So you need patience to try this recipe. But the result will awesome.

Always cook it on low flame by stirring constantly.

Put on low flame by stirring slowly

Cook on low flame

When mixture turns thick

Add butter

Add cashewnuts

Add vanilla essence

Stir continuously on low flame

It is getting more thick and changing into light Brown color

Now it's done

Immediately remove from fire

Transfer this mixture to greased plate and spread it evenly

When it is warm cut them into pieces

Serve!!!!

EGGLESS CHOCOLATE MOUSSE RECIPE



Hi guys...... Jumma Mubarak everyone.... Today I'm going to share an easy and tasty gelatin free and eggless chocolate mousse recipe. This recipe needs just 3 ingredients and also very easy to make. You don't need eggs or gelatin to make chocolate mousse. I used amul fresh cream (low fat) in this recipe. You can also use whipping cream if you have.
Today I'm also gonna show you what is double boiler. Because, so many readers were asking what is double boiler... So, today I will clear your doubt too...

I request you to try this recipe atleast once, because It tastes really awesome. My kids love this chocolate mousse a lot infact my whole family love it. So I often prepare chocolate mousse at home.you too try this recipe and serve to your beloved ones.

Ingredients :

Amul fresh or whipping cream : 200ml
Dark or milk chocolate : 200 grams
Icing sugar : 1/2 cup or as per your taste

Method :


Chill the  fresh cream pack for 12 to 24 hours in refrigerator before using. (no need to put in freezer)

Now take cream into a bowl, discard the water.

Whip the cream until it reaches to stiff peaks. It takes 3 to 5 minutes if your fresh cream is chilled.

Now add icing sugar and whip it for another 4 to 5 minutes or until it reaches to stiff peaks.

Now put this whipped cream in refrigerator for a while.

Now take chocolate and shred it well,take this chocolate in a bowl.

Now add 2 table spoons of water and melt chocolate in a double boiler.

Now let it cool for a while.

Now take whipped cream from refrigerator and add little by little cream to melted chocolate and mix it gently. Finally just beat it for few seconds.

Now take this mousse in a piping bag and pipe in a shot glasses or bowls. Decorate with some chocolate shavings, let them set in refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours and serve.


Take chilled fresh cream

Add cream to the bowl and discard this water

Whip the thick part well

Whip until it reaches to stiff peaks

Add icing sugar

Whip it well

Now our whipping cream is ready,Chill it in refrigerator

Take chocolate in a bowl (make sure chocolate is at room temperature)

Shred it well

For double boiler,take some water in a pan and let it boil

Now put chocolate bowl on pan

Add 2 table spoons of water and melt chocolate gently on medium to low flame

Chocolate has melted now

Let it cool for a while

Now take your whipped cream and chocolate

Add whipped cream to the chocolate little by little 

Mix gently


All well mixed now

Take this mixture in piping bag

Pipe it in shot glasses or bowls

Garnish with some chocolate shavings

Chill them in refrigerator for a while

Serve!!!!!!
