HOMEMADE CREAM CHEESE. RECIPE/HOW TO MAKE CREAM CHEESE AT HOME?


Haunting cream cheese at my place is really hard. I heard that it is expensive too. So few months back I wanted to bake cheese cake and saw some YouTube videos and made my own cream  cheese and baked my yummy classic cheese cake.it was a huge hit. Few weeks back one of our viewer requested me to post this recipe so again I made homemade cream cheese. Making cream cheese at home is so easy.this time I'm going to make no bake cheese cake.will share that recipe soon.

Ingredients :

Milk : 2 liters
Vinegar / lemon juice : 1/3 cup
Curd/yogurt : 1 cup /200 ml

Method :

First boil milk then gradually add vinegar or lemon juice, milk will slowly curdle.

Now strain this curdled milk in muslin cloth then tie it. And make a pouch as shown in picture

Now put any heavy weight on pouch and leave it for 1 hour

Now it becomes paneer (cottage cheese) cut this paneer into pieces and blend it from few seconds

Now add curd blend it into a smooth paste.(if required add more curd).

Now take a bowl put strainer in it then line with clean muslin cloth pour this blended paste in it and cover it as shown in picture.

Now put this in refrigerator for over night or 24 to 48 hours.

Now discard the water.

Now homemade cream cheese is ready use.

NOTE : DON'T USE STORE BOUGHT PANEET TO MAKE CREAM CHEESE....ALWAYS USE FRESH CHENA.

Boil milk

Add some vinegar


Stir it,it is slowly curdling

Add remaining vinegar

Stir it

It's completely curdled now

Strain it in muslin cloth

Make a pouch like this

Put heavy weight on it leave it for 1 hour

It becomes paneer

Cut into pieces

Take this pieces into blender

Blend it for a while

Add curd

Blend into a smooth paste

Take a bowl put strainer on it


Line with muslin cloth

Put blended paste in it

Cover it like this

Put this in refrigerator 

After 15 to 20 hours it is ready

Homemade cream cheese is ready to use.

SUPER SOFT BUTTER CAKE RECIPE


This is my 100th post in my blog!!!!!! Wow!!!! posted 100 recipes..... It is celebration time!!!! So, baked this super soft and extra delicious butter cake.this butter cake is soft and fluffy just like sponge. Love the buttery flavor...... When the cake was baking my house is filled with nice buttery aroma and I love the texture of this cake So much. I request you to bake this cake atleast once. You will bake again and again. And one more thing you will never go wrong with this recipe.you just follow my recipe bake and Serve this  wonderful cake to your beloved ones. I'm sure they defiantly love this cake. I hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turned.

Cake without oven :

Ingredients :

Butter : 150 grams (unsalted)
All purpose flour/maida : 120 grams/1 cup
Sugar : 3/4 cup
baking powder : 1 tea spoon
eggs : 3
Milk : 1/3 cup
Vanilla essence : 1 tea spoon

Method :

Bring butter and eggs to room temperature.every ingredient must be in room temperature.

Take cake mold grease with butter all over the mold. If you have parchment paper you can line with parchment paper. Keep this greased mold a side.

Now blend sugar into fine powder.

Now take mixing bowl add butter and powdered sugar cream it well.

Now add eggs one at a time and whisk it well.for each egg whisk it 45 to 60 seconds.

Now add vanilla essence mix it well.

Now take a sieve add flour and baking powder sift it well.

Now add these dry ingredients little by little and mix it without lumps.

Now pour milk and fold it gently

Now pour this batter to cake tin and spread it evenly.

Preheat oven in 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes and bake for 25 to 30 minutes in 180 degrees Celsius.

Insert a toothpick or knife if it comes out clean your cake is done.

Let the cake cools completely then run a knife around the cake, demold it and serve.
Apply butter all over the mold

Line with parchment paper

Add powdered sugar to butter

Cream it well

Add egg one at a time

Whisk it well and repeat the process

Add vanilla essence

Mix it

Sift flour and baking powder together

Add to butter mixture

Fold it gently without lumps

Pour milk

Mix it

Pour cake batter to mold

Spread it evenly

Bake it

Insert a knife or toothpick if it comes out clean your cake is done

Let cool

Run a knife around the cake and demold it

Look at the texture!!!!

Serve!!!

UPMA PESARATTU RECIPE



Had a hectic work today......baked yummy butter cake made homemade cream cheese,done some stationary shopping for kids project work,cleaning kitchen..... Ahh..... Though I have busy work I will never skip blogging....blogging gives me relief...... So again I came with another breakfast recipe that is upma pesarattu....!!!!!

           I have already shared many breakfast recipes this week here is an another Andhra breakfast upma pesarattu/pesarat.this combination is very popular in andhra pradesh.i often prepare this dish for breakfast. It well goes with any pickle,ginger chutney or coconut chutney.

Ingredients :

Pesara pappu/green gram/moong dal : 1 cup
Rice : 1/2 cup
Ginger : 1 table spoon (chopped)
Green chillies : 4
Cumin seeds /jeera/jeelakara : 1 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Cooking soda : 1/4 tea spoon
Oil/ghee : 1 to 2 tea spoons for each dosa
fried cashew nuts : 4 to 5 for each dosa
Chopped onions : 1 table spoon for each dosa
Upma : 3/4 cup for each dosa (click here for recipe)

Method :

Soak dal and rice for 6 to 8 hours or over night. Wash and drain water.

Now take this into a blender add ginger,cumin seeds,chilles,salt and cooking soda.

Pour some water and blend into a fine paste.

Now take this batter into a bowl add some water and make like dosa batter consistency.

Now Heat tawa and spread  batter on tawa then drizzle some oil or ghee then put upma (recipe here) and spread it evenly then sprinkle some chopped onions and fried cashew nuts.

Cook for 1 minute or till it's done fold it and take into a plate and serve.

Blend into a fine paste

Pour some water and make like dosa batter

Spread batter on hot tawa

Spread upma (click here for recipe)

Sprinkle onions,cashew nuts and drizzle some oil 

Slightly press it and cook for a while

Fold it and take into a plate

Serve hot!!!!
